Yesterday was a dissapointment.
Dodgers won
Yanks Lost
Texas lost by 1 run
Angels won ( and I jumped off the Greinke train at just the right time).
- a lot of my leans won which pissed me off...
Today is a full card
Yanks -148: Be careful because Joba MIGHT not pitch with his injured thumb, but the Yanks have lost 5/6 and are due for the bounce back. They replaced their weak link at 3rd base with one of the best hitters in the game and I think the Yanks will be playing better. They face a weak pitcher today as well in a 50% yankee stadium.
Brewers -110: Jeff Suppan is like a beat up Toyota Corolla that isn't pretty but it just works. I've been playing him this year in certain starts and I've been winning. The brewers hitters ( Braun and Fielder ) have been waking up and I like them to win at home today.
Astros -158: The Padres have one of the worst lineups in MLB and they face a stud Roy Oswalt on the road today. I like backing Oswalt and Geer doesn't scare me at all. I would have thought the price would be higher on this game, but I'll take it at -158.
Cards -107: The Reds have the slightly better pitcher, but I like the Cards lineup a heck of a lot more. I'll take it at -107.
Nationals +152: Scott Olsen really isn't THAT bad, he could have bad starts but then he could have those starts that give his team a chance to win. The Nats hitting actually isn't crappy like last year and I feel like thise Schwitzer guy has a lot of hype and that he's a fast ball pitcher and that the Nats have a decent shot at scoring some runs. I'll take it.
LAD +114: Lincecum is a stud no doubt, but I like taking the dodgers as a home dog when they have played so well at home. Weaver is say an above average pitcher and this is more or less like the angels last night when Greinke was on the road. Look, this is a rivalry, the dodgers are clearly the better team, the Giants have the better pitcher, but the weaker lineup. I'll take the dodgers and fade the fade the manny-less dodgers crowd.
Texas -108: The Rangers bats should wake back up against El Gordo and his fastballs. Padilla isn't that bad but there is a chance the Rangers just pound Colon.
Good Luck Fellas :toast:
