BYU at Utah - The Holy War

It really doesn't have much to do with polls. It would definitely be an upset. BYU has been playing great and Utah has had a terrible season. I am good friends with a few of the coaches at Utah and they were definitely concerned with this matchup.

History is great and fun for fans, but it has little to do with the matchup once they hit the field each new year.

This would be a huge kick in the balls for me though if the score remains the same. BYU just scored to go up 3 (27-24). I was hoping my Utes could win the game straight up as a fan...and I bet on BYU -10. If BYU wins but doesn't cover, I might need a shot of vodka. :missingte

concerned with the matchup? of course. id like to think utah was concerned because byu is very good. but not a single person on the byu roster has ever beaten utah, so its hard to say its a huge upset considering utah goes in expecting to win despite byu being in the polls. this has turned out to be a great game. beck is the real deal and ratliff has stepped up his game bigtime.

credit to beck but that was like flag football with the defense having to count to five mississippi before rushing the qb on the final play.

They weren't rushing...they dropped 8 knowing BYU had to throw it in the end zone. The bone head that left his zone and decided to rush hurt them. Even still, there aren't many QBs in the country that could be rolling right and make that throw all the way back to the left with someone hitting you in the mouth.

Amazing game. Terrible ending...but what a great game to watch.
