2 units on BYU -4. The Beach has 5 new starters since last year and basically just brought in a bunch of transfers. BYU is a a veteran squd, can get out and run, and actually have a really formidible front court this year. Think this line is off a few points alone based on Beach's prior years' reputation.

Don't know what game you were watching but Long Beach deserved that game.

Same game as you - but once they tied it up 59-59 and LBSt called the TO, BYU had all the momentum and then got away from ball movement and defense that got the game tied up to begin with. Just started playing that wild out of control ball again.

I'd also like to add that after watching games at Oregon and LBSt. I absolutely hate watching games on their courts on TV

They sure didn't play like the more veteran squad but a very uncharacteristic night from Collinsworth missing FT after FT and Davis got into foul trouble early in the 2nd half and he is a big part of the D. Overall there was some really ugly free throw shooting and shooting in generaly by BYU but they were clearly the better team IMO. Would still take them 10 times out of 10 at that line going forward. Early on in the season....
