this tournament is split on two courses the first 2
days. the key stat here has been putting and i only
see one match up that has any interest to me this week

dimarco over howell -30 1 unit

howells game is not suited for these courses and i
feel even though the price is high that dimarcos
putting will be the difference.
also dimarco has been on a nice roll lately with 2 top
10s
watc\hed him last week in charlotte and he is really
hitting it very solid and looks in total control
of his game.

Beem just got a tune up from his pro and a couple of new putters. He's hitting the ball great right now. Might be worth keeping an eye on him the next couple of tourneys. I'm going to watch him play on Friday.

Pat, what kind of surgery are you having done?

I am supposed to have my left one done some time this summer, when i get up the nerve.

Mine is to have about a 1/2 inch taken off the bone, and a torn rotator cuff repaired.

Had the right one done last year, and it has still not gotten to 70% yet.

I followed him all 18 on Friday. He got it 6 under and then on 14 his ball took a huge hop left to end up in the water for a double. He shot 69 again today so he's getting closer. The new putter is working well. I'd say he's worth looking at next week at Colonial, IMO.

Sounds like the same thing Uncle. He doesn't know exactly how much of the bone has to be removed though until he gets in there. In fact he said he may be able to "shave" it down enough while he is in there to ease the discomfort. It's a bitch right now, hurts all the time no matter what I do and move it the wrong way and it pinches the hell out of me.

Not what I wanted to hear though that you are still only 70% from last year. Yikes.
