Guys if anyone wants to play devils advocate and talk me off this please step up. My research dept has poured thosands of hours into coming up with this selection. (well ok it was more like an hour. But I did stay at a Holiday Inn

)

I love the over 3.5 field goals in the Superbowl. Heck I think there could be as many as seven! Great kickers on both teams and two offenses that move briskly between the 20's to compliment two great red zone defenses.

I was looking at this one also Buzz...but not as strongly as you I see...good luck I may play this one also...my favorite are

Figure(over estimate) the defenses allow 7 attempts(Doubtful) each the opp to get into FG range. 14 tries. You have 2 very good defenses, take away 5 for this reason/off nerves(Conservatism). Now you have 9 chances to score a FG. While in scoring position 1 time there is a TO. 8 chances remaining. 1 time there is a missed FG. 7 chances remaining. Are there 4 TD's scored in this game? I think so. With that brainstorming strategy of mine you have a loser.

Dang General! You are a bookmakers worse nightmare... and I thought my research dept was to be feared..

I saw the prop at BetOnGames and GameDay at Over 3.5 +100 but I haven't shopped around.

This looks like a game of grind-it-out kind of games at least according to the research dept and they've been known to be wrong....

If Brady plays in the red zone anything like he did against the Colts, Vinatieri is gonna have a lot of work again.... over looks good to me... i don't like to play props so good luck Buzz....

How many FGs did the league avg per game?

FWIW. Conditions should be favorable for kicking field goals, of course that means equally favorable for completing TD passes. The Panthers have a tendency to block kicks and Vinatieri has had less than a great season, going 25 for 34 with a long of 48 and John Kasay much better hitting 32 of 38, with a long of 53. Just a gut feeling, but I would rather have over 3.5 FGs than under in this game.
