I went to Game 3 last night of the NBA Finals. Had a great time, and saw an awesome game. The Customer Service line at the gate was very very long.

As it turns out, there were many people who bought tickets on Ebay, and were not able to get into the game. The people we spoke with bought tickets for 600 dollars, 800 dollars, and a group of three people who spent a grand!...... I guess one should be careful before ever buying tickets on Ebay. Apparently, their tickets were reprinted and were duplicate tickets. You should of seen how depressed these people looked.

man that sucks. If you do buy tickets never WU or moneygram for payment. I think if you pay by credit card ebay should protect your purchase. There was a scam last year and these scammers were asking for WU,yeah right. Buyer beware!

Ive thought lately it can be dangerous to buy Tix, because they are usually SCANNED.

What if the owner calls and reports their TIX as LOST, then when you go to the gate with those TIX they will not scan in?

Does anyone else have this concern about buying used TIX?

Last time in Vegas I had ordered TIX to a show at the hard rock, and they hadnt arrived before I had to leave montreal. So I had them cancelled and they re printed new ones for me.

Had someone taken those tix from my mailbox and tried to get in, I imagine they would not have worked for those peeps

If the people used Paypal to pay for them, they can get their money back.

I went to Charlotte this season to see Kobe. I was planning on scapling tickets, but I found some good ones on craiglist right before I made the trip. We were 9 rows off the court, for a sold out game, and payed below face.. There was a group of 4 people that sat right in front of us, and they were enjoying themselves until the real owners of those seats showed up... These guys bought tickets outside the stadium, HARD TICKETS, that scanned and gave them entry into the staduim.. and they were still FAKE... The way you could tell is you tilt the ticket, the hard copies have a ticketmaster hologram on them. Otherwise they were completely identitical...

Shame on people for doing that.
