Is this illegal/legal for US citizens? I have a hard time believing it's this simple.

Advise please.

Thanks

It was suggested to me that as long as they do not leave your house, then it is fine. I am seeking the correct answer here from the experts.

i dont think it is illegal to buy... but i think the US does not allow pharmacies outside the US to sell across the border. If they get caught at the border they'll be seized... i have a buddy who runs a pharmacy in Canada... it's a huge business.

Here is some info on that,

http://www.msnbc.com/local/ntli/94335.asp?cp1=1

INFORMATION ON BUYING PRESCRIPTION DRUGS FROM CANADA

US Federal law makes it illegal to purchase and import prescriptions drugs when the same drugs are available in the United States.

Current experience shows three types of online pharmacies:

(1) Online pharmacies in US that use state-licensed pharmacists and require consumers to obtain valid prescriptions from licensed physicians.
(2) Online pharmacies that offer to "diagnose" a patient online, to "prescribe" the medication, and to distribute it without a licensed prescriber such as a physician ever physically seeing the patient.
(3) Online pharmacies that allow consumers to purchase prescription drugs without any type of prescription.

Online pharmacies that dispense prescription drugs solely on a questionnaire or that do not require a prescription at all pose a significant risk to public health.

Consumers who experience misrepresentations, scam offerings, and related problems can complete the victim complaint form on our website at www.canadiancouncilbbb.ca/reportprescription.html. This information will be sent to the FTC and FDA and shared with the Canadian Competition Bureau.

You may wish to obtain additional information from your area FTC and FDA representatives, medical associations, and pharmacists.

Well, I got it in two days. But, to answer your question, I haven't tried it since my buddy told me that he went color blind for three hours after he took it.

I have done it several times over the years and never had a problem, u are limited to a 3 month supply to conform within the FDA's pilot program.

There is no fear of prosecution for this unless ur not doing it for personal use.

I use www.mastersmarketing.com based out of England, they have the lowest prices I have ever found and prices are dramatically lower then anything u will find in the US. I have always received items within 2 weeks of ordering in my mailbox and never had a problem with customs and the drugs I order were on one of the highest restriction levels.

A roomate of mine was involved in setting up an online pharmacy. As of about 4 months ago these were the unwritten rules:

1. You needed a valid prescription from your doctor
2. As long as you weren't importing large quantities of drugs for resale in the US, the authorities turned a blind eye.
3. Er, that's it.

Unwritten? So, that is not a "must"?

It depends on who is running the operation. Many online pharmacies in Canada are associated with real Canadian outlets with stores and cashiers and condom racks. These guys could get in huge trouble if they were to sell drugs without valid prescriptions. If it is a shadier operation, which would also be illegal in Canada, you may be able to get away without having a prescription.

It's just like having your offshore gambling account! It's illegal if big brother wants to enforce it. As long as your not reselling; me thinks they don't give a rat's ass currently. That could change any day to any year from now.

i have diabetes and have been purchasing medications online for years with no problems,i also tried viagra, the tablet got stuck in my throat when i tried to swallow it,all i got was a stiff neck

That is logical and the basic foundation for the discussions I have had. I think it is illegal and if the Authorities want you for it and you do not have a personal doctor approval, even if you are just a user At home, then they may incarcerate you.

While it is always a good idea to have a prescription to cover ur bases, Masters does not require having one on record to ship to u, they require no information from u other then an address and a doctor's name to put on the customs documents. In my case I ordered from Masters simply for the cost savings which is lower then even the Canadian online pharmacies and their service has been just as reliable.
