Get ready, kiddies ...

Sharon now has the full official blessing to launch against Iran and also has the full backing of this major blunder of backing off in the Gaza strip and Northern Samaria ...
this pullback in Gaza is one HUGE mistake by Sharon and Bush backing this shows his total misunderstanding of the Middle East

The plans were formalized in July ... we delivered huge payload to Israel in October and Sharon is a desperate man facing assassination by his own folks and possible civil war internally

Get ready ... 2005 is gonna be bloody

I know what awaits with the Neo-Cons back in power ...

I am not really suprised to be honest ... standing between 2 Bushies yesterday ... NEITHER had any grasp of anything and actually believed Kerry was weak on defv and totally mystified that Cheney wanted to cut the same items when he was Sect of Defv

I agree with Bill Maher ... this country is heading for a crash of major proportions and gonna be fun to watch Junior trying and blame Clinton ...

Doc: I am afraid that you are probably dead right. As a most interesting sidenote, the PNAC where these fascists come from, removed any and all documents regarding Iran about two months ago. Guess they didn't want the world to be able to read how pre-meditated WWIII really was.

This is going to be horrifying.

That is all but guaranteed with the Neo-Cons back in power ...

Jung is probably throwing down another shot of Cognac and loading up the payload ...

God help us all with Cheney in charge for another 4 yrs ...

This is really some scary crap as Cheney believes in Pre-emptive Nuke strikes ...

... and the rest of the world, too. Maybe even especially.

I'm about to get all girlie on you guys, but I've been moved to tears by this several times today. I'm stunned. Truly. I don't know why, I expected it (even won 2k this morning) but I am sickened. How can you re-elect a man who lied to you, has fücked up an unnecessary war to such horrid proportions, and thinks a nuclear war in the MidEast is simply 'god's will'???

What is wrong with your country???

It's 1933, you are Germany, I am France. You speak of war like it's a guy's night out, as though bombing is fun. You are caught up in hazing and you're not even soldiers. You are caught up in the hyper-nationalism this administration's propaganda has befallen you. You think this so-called war on terrorism is legitimate and can justify the war we are all about to be dragged into. You think that they are honest with you, that you know all that you need to know.

To the small handful of Repubs on this board that I do respect, I offer my congratulations. To the idiots, and you probably don't even know who you are, I offer you a speedy decent into the hell you have created yourselves.

May you rue the day you put this monster back in power.

I live in the Austin area ... Bushies get their mentality from listening to druggies like Limbaugh ... Limbaugh is a big time racist, drug user and did not serve in the military but yet is the Spokesman for the Bushies ...

Limbaugh said on the air last year: "It is our God given right to control the oil fields in the Middle East .. God gave us nuclear weapons to use as we see fit .. and if Nuking Iraq brings stability to the rest of the world, I say let Bush do what he must .." NICE THOUGHTS FROM A MAN WITH OVER 20 MILLION FOLLOWERS

Your pts were great .... and very accurate. Bush will ignite WW3 as Cheney calls the shots and has little regard for mankind in general ... he is an Honorary FreeMason and believes in Pre-Emptive nuke strikes when needed

The world today is grasping what is about to happen .. Bush is hated world wide and has ZIPPO diplomatic skills and surrounded by a pack of Neo-Cons who believe it is their God given right to Democratize the world

This country does not exsist in End Times .. the EU is rising to Power and will soon dwarf this country in many areas ... our days as a superpower are winding down very quickly and the country putting Bush back in power is a clear indicator that the most brain dead voters are Americans

God bless us all ... ya gonna need it

X...don't forget this wasn't because everyone loves Bush its because people of this country reject people like Kerry and his ilk....the smarmy condescending elitist who laugh and mock at people of faith and who think the common man and woman are to stupid to do anything for themselves and that all personal and social ills can be cured by the redistribution of wealth and big goverment.Being labled homophobes, racist, sexist and having laws shoved down your throat because your definition of diversity is not the same as theirs.

There was a strong "Don't tread on me." vote.I was one of them.

Patriot:

Who is mocking anyone's faith???

Bush is the one who brings it out in the open .. c'mon, this is a man who touts the Bible and yet tells us Christians and Muslims pray to the same God ???? And has hosted Ramadan events in the White House?? told us all that he had conversations with God "to bomb Iraq"

Same man who mocks a dying woman in Texas when he was gov .. spread rumors about Anne Richards being Gay and spread rumors about McCain in 2000 that were disgusting

Bush first ran for office backing abortion .. got his butt kicked and told by Daddy not to run on that platform

I am a Christian .. Bush's action vs his lip service about his beliefs don't match and the Christian church telling us that if we dont vote Republican, we are not Christians? Give me a break .

Bullshit, Patriot. With all due respect, of course.

Seven out of ten Americans, after Baghdad fell, believed Saddam was directly responsible for 9/11 despite no evidence nor admissions to support this. Propaganda victory #1. Fast forward a year, after the 9/11 Commission states, and the media reiterates, that there was no connection and still 42% of Americans think Saddam was directly responsible for 9/11. This is a stupid, uneducated electorate to not know such a glaring fact. It's not like not knowing who the head of the PNAC is, or that Cheney voted against some of the same things Kerry voted against; this is a big freaking deal.

But, that aside, and worse than this even, is that exit polls showed the vast majority of Bush supporters voted on "moral issues" and "the war on terror" (malarky.) Gay marriage was more important to Americans than the fate of the people of the MidEast.

I wonder how long it took the German people to realise what they had on their hands???

Congrats Bush Supporters And Good Bye [Sincerely]

My pain is your gain and as such I would like to sincerely congratulate the Bush supporters on these forums. Do not take that in a wrong way. I am not being sarcastic. As Dave Mason once sang "we just disagree." I am not a bad guy and can be a hell of a lot of fun to tip a few with. And I imagine that if I met some of you in a sports bar and the conversation was limited to sports and wagering we would get along just fine.

I conceed only that your "moral values" and ideology are seemingly shared by a miniscule majority of Americans. However I do not share your views nor your ideology and I struggle to find anything in common with most of you aside from the aforementioned interest in sports and or wagering...at least with those of you whose scope extends beyond this particular forum. And about the only thing I can think of that I would still fight for is your right to express those views of yours that I am so adamantly opposed to.

I have alluded to the fact that the Mrs. and I have been researching a possible move to Canada. Not because we are "cut and run' radical sore losers but aside from now being extremely worried about the future of our children and grandchildren we are in a Catch 22 position on health issues. Our financial situation is still quite healthy at this precise moment. However it is quickly deteriorating because of the cost of health issues. Our health is not where it should be. We must act and we must act soon. After my recent battle with heart disease surgery and other problems I have, health insurance and medications just for me alone costs us well over 1K a month. Two years ago it was $300 a month.

The Mrs. remains uninsured and is in a Catch 22 situation. She also has heart disease [blame me for mine but she never smoked or drank] and though while she is willing, she is unable to buy any policy period. Here's how it works around here. She gets chest pain. Off the the ER. Limited tests are performed after she is stabilized. She is told to see her cardiologist for a full battery of tests. No can do. My recent bill for what she may very need went way beyond a 100K. So the process repeats itself about every 6 months. My premium and yours is raised to pay for it all. Those bills we simply toss as we have no choice. They are multi-multi dimes each time. So we pray to the same God you do that she doesn't die. They say up there you wait 9 months for pricey medical tests. Here you wait till you die.Tough choice, eh?

Perhaps it is wrong for us to get sick. Perhaps we haven't had enough hands laid upon us or we are wrong in not having prayed hard enough. There are some who would say that. Nevertheless it is wronger still for folks such as us who have worked hard to create a nest egg and were able to take an early retirement only to see that nest egg insidiously evaporate each month. I still have a modest [I call it that but everything is relative] guaranteed monthly investment income but it is fixed. No, it ain't gambling boys. Though that helps it is but a drop in the bucket. We have two red state properties mostly paid for to sell. One is now mortgaged to a fairly large extent. The other not yet is.

We are both from northern climes and would like to escape the Florida heat anyway. Many, many years ago I played in an all-star hockey tournament on an outdoor rink in North Bay, Ontario and found the climate invigorating.

In the near future, I will be posting in the main forum for some help and guidance from our Canadian poster friends as we seem to be resolved to at least take a shot. THAT IS THE KEY POINT OF THIS RAMBLING POST. WE WILL BE SEEKING HELP FROM OUR CANADIAN FRIENDS ON THESE BOARDS. We have good leads on two properties right now but we have far more questions than answers at this point since our situation is a rather unique one. This however is my good bye to the political forum.

I have not posted any of this to elicit sympathy at all. We are still blessed and have many options. My days are finally my own. I finally have no boss. And we have options most don't have.

Again you Bush guys have every right to gloat and celebrate. I would have done it myself. I expect either to be ignored or be subjected to sarcasm and a few flaming nasty comments but nevertheless Patriot and others of the right....

Peace and enjoy your victory.

"We just disagree."
