LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can just imagine his advisors all huddled in a room watching this ala West Wing and then he says that they all look at each other with their mouths and open thinking -- he didn't just say what we all think we heard, did he?
Where do I begin?
First of all, think about that statement for a moment, let it sink in. He's saying that if they had something to hide they wouldn't have met with them....so if they had something to hide, well, then, gosh golly, they would have hid it. Is this something you want your President to say? I mean, the very fact that he knows the drill when there's something to hide tells me...well...that he's got a whole lotta shit that he's hiding. And I suppose we can also conclude that any time in the futr (and past) that he has refused to answer questions or to meet to dicsuss something...that he must be hiding something. Afetr all, thats' his M.O. Got something to hide, then just shut the hell up.
Secondly, everyone knows full well that he fought this commission's creation from the start and then he fought having to personally testify. And then when he finally caved he insisted that it not be under oath, that there be no transcripts, that there be no audience and that Cheney had to be by his side the whole time.
Bush only spoke ublicly for 5 minues this afternoon and yet still managed to easily insert foot directly into mouth. I think by error, he had a moment of honesty about what he does when he has something to hide. Oo
