A few days before the presidential election in the United States holocaust victims filed a lawsuit at the federal district court in New York against George W. Bush.
Peter Wolz, the Dueseldorf/Germany based lawyer explains, that survivors and relatives of victims demand $ 400 million compensation from the US President.
Suitor would be the international project group of Auschwitz-Class Actions (IPAS). In their view is the inherited fortune of the Bush family based in part on profits from Nazi slave labor, which their grandfather Prescott Bush earned with deals with the Nazis during World War II.
The co owner of a steal company would have gained a profit from slave labor in the extermination camp of Auschwitz, argues Mr Wolz. The lawsuit was filed on Friday at the federal district court in New York.
