Really stupid, unprofessional conduct. No room for that and cost his team a playoff win. Their first win. Feel bad for the players in that locker room and the coach. They had it won

He was a awesome college player that went Undrafted because of character issues and off the field problems.
He would ask been a very high draft pick.

Echo The Above.

Echo too the announcers: Burfict had played a Legendary Game....would have gone down in NFL History as among the greatest games every delivered by an NFL Defenseman.

He threw it all away.

For a cheap savage hit he could have pulled up off of.

Payback for the hit on Bernard?

....whatever that was...all it winds up as is "WTF?!!?" and maybe the most pathetic giveaway of a vital game and History Making Defensive performance...that we will ever ever see.

playoff football. tough defensive struggle. Players carried off.

No one will recall the first game, no one forgets the ending of this one.

Deon Sanders saying he was trying to avoid the hit. I'm not sure what he was looking at.

I don't feel badly for the coach. He should have sat Burfict down because he's seen this many times before. To trust Burfict in that spot with an obviously wounded Big Ben was suicide and Marvin committed it on his team. There was less than 30 seconds left in the game. You think they don't have someone that could have taken his place for the last two plays or so?
Burfict was injured and missed quite a bit of time this year. His replacement would have done just fine.

Shame on Marvin. He cost his team the win as much as Burfict.

No way even Marvin could anticipate a guy being that stupid. You don't go for The Head. Period, anytime. Especially not to put them in Field Goal range in a do or die PLAYOFF GAME and on the heels of the gem of Defensive Game you've delivered. You have everything you've ever wanted....RESPECT. Acknowledgment as among the best Defensive Players in the game...then you throw it all away. Cuz at your core you are a Psycho Savage. Unreal. Defies words.

Agree with Moneylinedog that Burfict likely had some payback in the back of his mind for Shazier's just as blatant cheap shot on Bernard. Burfict should have made an effort to pull up. Dumb play and the refs had to flag it. The 2nd flag on Jones should never have been thrown. At worst, offsetting with Porter. He had no business out on field jawing with players. If he was attending to Brown, ok, I get it but he was just out provoking shit. Same as he did as player.

Cinnci reminds me of the Rivers, LT, Gates, Merriman Chargers teams that couldn't get over hump in AFC. If Brown family thinks they can bring in a new coach to fix the mental breakdowns, they have to do it. He has had 2 different Bengals eras of solid teams. Ideally someone on that Bengals defense steps up as a leader and instills discipline. Team is so talented and deep from great drafts. A shame if they never put it all together.

Refs also looked overmatched. Sidelines were out of control. Munchak was funny though scrapping with Nelson.

Very pleased I had bet Bengals earlier in week at +3 or I'd have ended up getting less and taking them ml instead and losing.

Going by your theory, I guess Lewis should have know that his runningback would fumble the ball, and have replaced
him as well?
