I'm still new at betting golf, so right now I'm just trying to learn the key things to look at when capping a tournament.

Baird (-135) vs Mediate

Snedeker (-130) vs Crane

Glover (-125) vs DiMarco

Pavin (-120) vs Funk

Armour (-125) vs Daly

All plays 1 unit. 1 unit = $500.

All plays are for 72 holes.*


Again, like tennis, I would appreciate any advise/insight from experienced golf cappers that really know what they're doing. I've only seen a couple post their picks but they really seem to know what they're talking about (especially abcs). Good luck to everyone, lets have a good tournament.

Good luck man. I leaned Daly in that matchup, but then i realized hes stayin with Kid Rock all week..
With ya on the top matchup. Im goin out of town this weekend.. we'll discuss more golf later

I had no idea he was staying with Kid Rock this week, thanks for the info. That makes me like my bet that much more, especially with them both being pretty far out and tied after the first day. You know with Daly being 8 stokes out that he is going to party up tonight, so as long as Armour has a decent round of golf tomorrow he should win the matchup.

I appreciate all the info you provide here abcs, and would love to know the sites you use to gather information.

Here's how the bets are looking after 18 holes:

Baird (-7) vs Mediate (-1)

Snedeker (-2) vs Crane (-4)

Glover (-2) vs DiMarco (-2)

Pavin (-8) vs Funk (-4)

Armour (E) vs Daly (E)

After 36 holes:

Baird (-8) vs Mediate (-4)

Snedeker (-130) vs Crane- Lost

Glover (-8) vs DiMarco (-6)

Pavin (-120) vs Funk- Won

Armour (-125) vs Daly- Won


2-1 so far since Daly, Funk and Snedeker didn't make the cut. Baird and Glover are both ahead, but Mediate ended well today and DiMarco has a good track record at this course. Hoping for at least 3-2 to have a profitable tournament, but would love to finish 4-1.

I have Bubba Watson at 30-1. He is currently 10 under, and on Friday he had a clean card. Going into the Bubba is 12-1. Be a nice pickup if he can catch Bo.

Glover (-11) vs DiMarco (-4)

Pavin (-120) vs Funk- Won

Armour (-125) vs Daly- Won


Glover looks like a win, but Rocco is catching up to Baird. Still should be up units for the tournament though.

Good week by the way, Depending on how the Chopra play ends up will dictate how much time i put into next week.. It will be a huge blow if Chopra doesnt pull through
