He was one of the most knowledgeable and classy posters on this board. This is 100% uncalled for, unless of course you can back it up. If he's a tout, then why are his picks still available for free? Thought you had turned the corner of posts like this.

im still working on not having many posts like this but in my opinion i think he went Tout I could be wrong.. sorry if it offended anyone as I do think he was a great capper and classy poster but why leave bc you think someone is stealing picks? well then they can still steal them if hes got them up for free elsewhere...

It didn't offend me. It's just not fair to make accusations like that when you can't back them up. It's a fact that his picks are still available for free on wagerline. That's very strong evidence that he's not selling them.
I wouldn't bash you for having the opinion that he shouldn't have left due to the POA issue, but in all fairness it was his decision to make and we shouldn't attack him just because he chose not to post his plays anymore. He's been in the WL contest all year long and I completely understand if he chose not to give that up, considering he was in the top 10 for units made (and 1st in win %). At some point, it's very likely that everyone on these boards will make that same decision for one reason or another. Do you want to be bashed when you decide that it's no longer fun or worth it to post here?
I hope that by now you know I have nothing against you. I've given you props for a great year and best wishes for continued success. If you'd like to go the way of useless posters like hognuts, then so be it. But I'm hoping you stick to the new and improved classy 5*. BOL either way.
No matter what BG's reasons for leaving were, it seems to make sense why there's a big difference between posting at WL and at the RX for him.
There's no need for write-ups at WL since it is strictly a pick-em oriented contest. I am sure his detailed write-ups were time consuming.
Also, with the nature of his following here, he probably felt obligated to keep checking in on his RX threads to answer questions and etc.
Whether his plays were really being ripped off, or if he just got sick of the daily grind, or whatever his reasons were, it makes sense that he'd continue posting his plays at WL. He's doing well in the contest and he can easily make his selections (strategically before gametime if you want to assume they were being ripped off) without the need for write-ups, Q & A and recaps. All he has to do is post before gametime and then he's done for the day without any other responsibilities or maintenance.
It will be interesting to see what he does next season. If he is nowhere to be found (including being absent from WL), then it probably will feed the fire for the "went tout" conspiracy theories. But who knows. He may resurface here again or somewhere else. I personally will reserve judgement about BG's motives until presented with factual or first-hand evidence.

BG is that his WU`s were some of the best I`ve ever seen. In any sport. The amount of time he devoted to it must have been enormous as smartz said. If a guy is good enough & people are willing to pay for that hard work I see nothing wrong with making a job out of it. He, nor anyone else owes us anything, a free choice to make. "Tout" has become a scarlet designation in the sports betting world. But there are a FEW honorable ones, and who`s to say BG wouldn`t be one? Jibba you`re VERY good & I shamelessly tail you.
