Guy is trouble: has a stabbed leg and missed last 10 games of 2013--

From February --

Neighbors painted a vivid picture of a year of loud chaos at all hours in the middle of a normally quiet neighborhood.

Hagensicker said parties at the house kept him up at night, with stretch limos pulling up and unloading people at 4 a.m. The parties were big enough that cars were parked on his grass, driving over his lawn as they left, leaving tracks and breaking sprinkler heads. He saw mattresses left on the lawn and woke up to deer eating from garbage left around the house.

"I'd be lying in bed at night and couldn't sleep," he said. "Big boom boxes blaring, and it would shake my head on my pillow. I've never known people so rude and so low-class. I was astonished."

Williams' court appearance Monday relates to misdemeanor charges of trespass and criminal mischief, accused of causing up to $200 damage to a woman's front door in December.

Williams had off-field flags before the Bucs drafted him in 2010. He had been dismissed from school at Syracuse amid academic issues, returned to school then quit the team in November 2009.

Late in his rookie season, Williams was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence, a charge that was dropped two months later. It's one of 16 traffic citations he has received since 2010, including a crash with property damage in 2012 and five red-light camera tickets in a span of six weeks last year.

2 things about this that I don't like 5team...

1. It's gotten to the point that every time a player gets in the slightest trouble these days, teams try to make an example out of them by ridding of them.
Yes if a guy is a murderer, drug dealer, or something horrible, then ok yes cut him loose, but not for lesser problems.

2. When a team gets rid of a top talent at one of their positions, what do they normally do?

They draft a guy with their 1st round pick as they try to replace him.

That pisses me off big time because you're basically gaining no ground whatsoever and merely trying to replace the already proven talent you just let go, virtually wasting your top pick...

So Hache, do you believe that talent is more important than character? There are 2 kids in the 1st round that both have the talent to make this guy a distant memory. F him, playing in the NFL is not a right, its a privilege.

Nick I think character is indeed important, but cmon, we are expecting 100% of athletes to be a "yes sir/no sir" type of person?
Everyone is different.
Some people are conservative, some have rougher edges.
That's why I made a point to say that if it's something major as drug - involvement, murder, etc., then ok it's obvious the guy needs to go.

If a guy is THAT bad, then why is it there's always another team that welcomes them with open arms?!?

Love is a Tony Dungy wannabe and not going to tolerate the slightest.

As for other players in the draft to replace Williams or any other player under these same circumstances, nothing is a given.

My point is I've seen teams time after time let a solid player go, and then use their 1st round pick attempting to replace him.
It makes absolutely no sense to me.
You're trying to use your top pick to fill holes, not create MORE holes and have to fill it too.
what did you accomplish?
What ground did you gain?
Unless you get lucky and the guy you drafted becomes a superstar, you've failed to progress. ..

I agree, bad move from a fans perspective, but you never know how much a guy really throws off the teams chemistry.

Mike Williams a very underrated WR on the field
