Was gonna take a day off after getting my ass handed to me from Ducks and Nucks(under)

Was shocked to see this game at 5.5........I capped it at 6 minus to the over.
Probby cause it's a interdivision game.
Only thing is these two would be playing tight D...........if they could.

I like it Coaster. This is the Sabres' season on the line. If they do not get at least one point, there is little chance they make up 7 points on the Habs with 7 games to play. If the Habs get a 2 or 3 goal lead, I fully expect Buffalo to pull the goalie very early in this game, perhaps resulting in more goals. It really is desperation time for Buffalo. Their schedule down the stretch is very hard..

Both these teams play the same up tempo style and when you look at their recent games you see them scoring goals in bunches and letting them in as fast.

However don't you see this game being played with a more conservative approach due to it's importance to both teams?

I believe this number is a bit of a trap.

IMHO: I don't think they are good enough to dictate the approach.
If they could I think we may have seen it in a couple of big games in the past 2 weeks.

You make a good point Vic. This is something I personally considered. However, after looking at recent trends, it was just too appealing for me. I mean, Buffalo vs. Florida by all accounts should have been a tight game. Buffalo games have gone over 5.5 goals in 10 of the last 11.

I also have very little confidence that Montreal can win a tight game with Carey Price in the net. The guy faced very few chances against Tampa, but yielded two goals on 19 shots. Other than the Tampa game, Price has given up at least 3 goals in his past 5 games, 4 of which have gone over 5.5 goals. Montreal games have gone over 5.5 goals in 4 of the last 5.

That being said... your argument still carries a lot of weight. I guess we'll see... should be a great game to watch.

Maybe it's too much to ask for this game to finish in a tie? Got a couple bucks on the tie...

Carey Price looks brutal... he has no idea where the puck is, and really just looks like he's hoping it hits him. I've counted numerous occasions where he's looking behind himself after a shot.
