In all of my years of watching postseason baseball, I have never ever ever seen a postseason with as many bad/poor calls as these sorry umpires have called this postseason.

I am not even referring to anything gambling related. Im just talking about missed calls in the field, horrible strike zones, etc.......as a fan of the game itself.

As a fan, this is just unexcusbale for MLB & Selig.

I was not aware that MLB decided to not have the best umpires work the playoffs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF???

Instead they decided to use a rotation system of the umps so they all could get a chance to work a game?

Are you freaking kidding me? 162 games for every team to get in the playoffs and you reward the playoff teams with the shittiest umpires.

What a freaking joke this sport is. Selig needs to go to. He is a total loon job. Roger Goodell should take over MLB too.

Im not even talking just about the world series....Im talking about the whole postseason. Just speechless as to why you wouldnt want the best of the best calling the playoffs and World Series in your sport. Thats baseball, and that's the Selig era I suppose.

I have been saying this all year long.

I got the MLB package this year and watched baseball every night.

Some of these umpires have no business being on the field. Just terrible calls on the bases and some of the home plate umpires have no concept of the strike zone. :think2:

I hadn't bet a side the whole series (until tonight - lost with the Rays) and was telling a friend before the game that the Phillie pitchers get a bigger strike zone from the ump. They get every call just off the plate and the Rays get squeezed. I thought it would be hard for that to continue. Tonight it only got worse.
