Back-up is certainly capable but Quarles is one of the more underrated backers around the league, got to be a drop off of some sort. These things always happen to Super Bowl champs. I believe there are no better fades early in the next season than defending champs.

You got that right Pat. I was listening to 620 AM today on and off at work, and didn't hear anything about it.......

Yeah they are calling it a freak accident. Running special team drills when he did it. Might miss a little less time than I said above, broke his forearm they are saying now.

Nate Webster had an opportunity before Pat, and didnt' impress, so if I was betting Monday night's game, it would definitely go on Philly now. That middle linebacker spot is huge, especially Quarles.

Shoot, I was taking a serious look at Tampa +3 too. Time for more study.

I'm square as they come in football but won't get near Tampa this year for the most part. Slow recievers, problems up front, running back questions, and a QB who had a dream year last year. He gets hurt and Shaun King is the answer? Defense is pretty much in tact (or was) but I just don't like what I see......

I keep telling you to quit arguing with me about football but you won't listen. That year I beat the books betting football in 1983 was no fluke. Going to happen any year again now.

They still the CLEAR CUT FAVORITE? Wonder if the Colts think the Bucs are the best defensive team in NFL history??
