I agree with this.

Throwing the helmet bought him an extra 1-2 seconds which meant he really didn't have to square up. If he doesn't throw the helmet then he would've really had to fight. Didn't seem like he wanted that work.

You are right. Saw a picture of this (it happens right in front of the mound)..Morse took a shot there..wouldn't be surprised if he has a concussion. Samardizja (6'5") looked like he was going full speed and hit him flush on the side of his head. I didn't realize he got kneed in the back of is neck until Ladeda pointed it out.
