I don't think he's gone anymore. He looked like he had no fire early in the year and now some of it is back at least. But I think if he woulda left, it woulda been for the NC State job. I don't think he would coach anywhere else besides either Pittsburgh or NC State.

He'll be the highest paid coach in the NFL in 2 years. I'll guess with the Redskins. No way he was ever going to coach in college even at his alma mater.

What a beatdown. So what is it-is Pitt back, or are the Brownies that bad?

The Browns are awful!

Late in the game , Pitt has the ball 3rd and 15 running out the clock, with the total sitting on 34, and Cleveland about to get the ball back...the Browns defender inexplicably grabs the face mask with the entire team about to tackle the runner instead of getting the ball back, 1st down PITT...so that was that...and that summed up this awful game.

a little of both I think. I have said all year (and not been paid for it) that statistically Pittsburgh is better than they played but Cleveland is awful and boring.

That fat f**ker Romeo Crennel needs to have his eyes gouged out.

4th and 3 around the 50 yard line, 5 minutes to play, and Cleveland down 27-0. 99.9999999999% of NFL coaches would bring the punt team on the field in that situation. Fatass Romeo goes for it, and they throw a 45-yard TD pass. (I HAD THE UNDER 31.5 FROM LIVE BETTING.)

Un-fucking-believable.

I think most would go for it...sorry about that man.

I was surprised they didn't go for two after they scored if they were really trying.

I agree. 99.9% would go for it at midfield. Now backed up on his own 20 or so maybe not but for sure in that scenairio evey coach would go for that.

You guys really think they would go for it? In the NFL? I disagree...

NFL coaches are notorious for conceding defeat, and just wanting to get the hell out of there... I think 99.9% of coaches would just punt the ball, let the opposing team run out the clock, and get out of there. It was a 27-point game.

Plus, we're talking about the same NFL coaches who get a 10-point lead & then think they can run out the last 30 minutes of the clock.

Just my opinion...

sorry about your loss. I really am. In the above example with just 3 yards and at midfield and the defense most likely playing a soft zone, I would say yes they go for it all the time NOW where I think that changes is if they will end up turning the ball over in a posistion that the opposing team will be in AUTOMATIC scoring posistion than I say they punt. Take it from a LIFETIME Detroit Lions fan I have seen this a million times and that is how they usually handle it.:puppy:
