Per Schefter, Bowlen asked Marshall to take some time to reconsider his stance. Marshall is not expected to back down, however, which means the Broncos are right back where they were with Jay Cutler. Though it's possible that a new contract could assuage Marshall, it's more likely that the receiver will continue to push for a trade. Perhaps the Bears will be interested.

Brandon Marshall - WR - Broncos Rumors flying about Marshall to BAL?
For now, this is merely speculation. There has been no official reported interest from the Ravens side, but the fit makes sense because Baltimore wants a difference-making wideout. We suspect Denver will do all it can to retain Marshall, especially since they will own his rights for two more years if next year goes uncapped. June 15 - 7:16 p.m. ET

Just another mess for the Denver brass to hash out. Pretty soon they will have no offense, and not much of a defense either. If they repeat their 8 win season of last year,it will be a major accomplishment.

That doesn't mean Marshall will be traded, of course, but it's interesting the Broncos are open to the possibility. Or at least say they are. The difficulty will be getting appropriate value for a Pro Bowl level talent coming off hip surgery with serious off-field concerns. We doubt Denver will get an offer they deem suitable, but the Ravens are one team that could test the waters.

Marshall has all kinds of off field issues, so Denver will get nothing for him. He is looking at a suspension. Denver is really screwed here. He does not want to stay, and they will get nothing for him. Rumor has it that they are looking for a 1st and a 3rd. They will porbably use the 1st to draft another RB. They may as well go back to those nausiating Orange Jerseys, because the team will be just as sick.

No team will take both of them, and we do not even know if either one of them will be playing this season. If one goes to Tampa, who is going to throw them the ball?
