Aaron Zalewski, the husband of UFC Octagon girl Brittney Palmer, was reportedly arrested in June for attempted murder after an alleged attack in their home.
TMZ Sports reports Los Angeles Police Department documents say Palmer told police Zalewski became enraged after hearing a casting agent call her "babe" during a telephone conversation. She claims he threw her around and choked her before eventually pinning her to the bed with his knee, at which point she struggled to breathe.
He was arrested in the early morning hours of June 12 as a result of the incident. Along with attempted murder, he was charged with spousal battery and criminal threats, according to the report.
Palmer also told police that Zalewski injured himself during the course of the altercation by scratching his arms and then shouted: "Why are you making me do this? I just wanted you to love me."
The UFC star was eventually able to escape the house to contact police. The report notes Zalewski was released the next day on $1 million bail, and the case is currently awaiting further action from the Los Angeles County District Attorney.
