Halos back to their normal ways and absolutely crushing the NY Yankees. Sunday will be the same. Don't be fooled, even with CC on the mound. Granted, Lackey has been shakey, but the Angels will win this game. They are on fire, even without Vlad and Torii Hunter.

can't make up my mind on this one I think 'm gonna sleep on it. Got a funny feeling the yankees might win though.

According to the Angels official website, Brandon Wood is back in the lineup again today. This is great news, as Wood is trying to shine with Vlad and Torii out of the lineup.

Angels +1 1/2 (-130) to the bank.

Seriously considering the ML here on the Angels, but taking the RL just in case. I have taken the Angels RL + 1 1/2 on every game in this series vs. the Yankees for a pretty good value. That's what you get when you have a much overrated Yankees team.

GL but I'm taking my chances with CC and the boys today. I just don't trust Lackey even with these hot bats behind him. The Yankees offense isn't exactly struggling right now either and I'll take their career .283 against him. And this isn't a fluke # like many opponent averages: this is over 346 AB by this Yankee line-up.

Sabathia is filthy on the road and the Bombers' best chance of having a starter go 7+ in this series. That is what they need right now more than anything. He's 6-3 away with a 2.99 ERA & a .205 AVG against. I'm sure Halos will get to him for 3-4 runs through about 6 innings but the Yanks will abuse Lackey imo.

and an 0-4 one at that

dodgers and angels? how square can u get....

considering yanks record, and the way in which halos won the last 2....the yankees laying -130 to -140 is far from a "popular play"

The Yanks could very well get to Lackey. But I'm going to side with the Angels on this one as they have the momentum in a very large way. Also, Lackey's last start was promising, he was cruising along against the Rangers for a good part of the game and had a bad inning. He may be on the upswing. Also, he steps up for big matchups such as this one, always has. This is easily the game of the day with these two pitchers on the mound.

i don't know if you've been paying attention, but laa lad and sf are the hottest teams in mlb right now. what's so strange about that. California is a big state, I know you just got 2 teams in your state but really a faulty argument on your part
