Ok, I know I am biased here but let's look at what he has done. In 2000, he won the Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer at the helm. In 2001, they lost Jamal Lewis for the year in the pre-season and he went with 75 year old Terry Allen and still went to the final 8 before losing to Pittsburgh. In 2002, they had a salary cap purge and completely turned over 75% of their roster and missed the playoffs. In 2003, they bounced back and won the AFC North with a rookie QB for half of the year and retread Anthony Wright the other half. This year they are off to their best start ever with by far the most injuries in the NFL. They have missed Pro Bowler Peter Boulware for the entire year, Pro Bowler Todd Heap for 8 1/2 games, Pro Bowler Jonathan Ogden for 4 games, Pro Bowler Jamal Lewis for 2 games, Pro Bowler Chris McAllister for 1 game and their starting center Mike Flynn for the entire season. Yesterday, their top receiver recently, Clarence Moore can barely walk and has to take an IV to even suit up. Their starting TE, Terry Jones wakes up and can't play due to a nerve problem. No problem. A TE they pick up on waivers, Darnell Dinkins, catches 4 big passes including a TD. Brian Billick is hated by a lot of people because he is so outspoken and cocky. But let's face it, the guy is a tremendous coach. Not one of the early posters in Dante's top 5 teams thread lists the Ravens in the top 5. However, they crushed the unbeatable Steelers earlier in the year. When they get healthy, look out as they have the best coach in the NFL.
