the yankees can tell you all about the big money jinx...although i guess the red sox are mostly immune to it (although they are definitely starting slow this year)

Big Money Jinx......is alive and well. Lets hope its curses all these teams who have undiscplined Owners who like to spend out of their ass.

Yeah, but at least Cashman is getting a lot younger, and next year a lot of big veteran salary comes off the books.

Yanks are going in the right direction, with Hughes, Joba, Kennedy, Melke....

Every time I bash the team I back they comeback and win. Trying it again.

Had a feeling Santana wouldn't lose his first start at Shea, but was hoping Sheets would keep it close till the Mets bullpen blows the game.

Gagne gets the job done today going 1-2-3 in the 9th as the Brewers win 5-3 ruining Santana's first start at Shea.

gagne should be pretty solid from here on out...he learned a valuable lesson last time out by shaking kendall off on a pitch,,,he now will listen to kendall and just pitch, not think
