The NFL tell's players to stay out of strip clubs. What do they say to a player who gets murdered in his own house.

Obviously there's more to the story. It looks like the intruders were gunning for him. Could he have been involved in some gang banger activities and made some enemies.

It was said on ESPN that now more players will arm themselves with guns. I don't blame them.

I dont get why an NFL Player wouldnt have an alarm system to their house and or a Dog or 2 to watch the house. If Taylor had either of those things this most likely wouldnt have happened...

But there is Way more to this story, and I am sure we will hear about it in the coming weeks. The house was robbed back to back times in November. I would be interested in knowing how long after he was shoot his G.F called the police, or how long it took emts to get there.

CNN was reporting that on November 8th someone broke into his house and left a kitchen knife on his bed........ Seems he was trying to change his ways and the past might have caught up with him. Damn shame.

why is that ... what motive would his girlfriend need, it's not like they were married and she would get his money ... if anything a lot of money will be put in a saving account for his son and he can't touch that until he is 18

This smells like another Fred Lane incident to me. Taylor got shot in the upper leg (groin). If I was a detective I would think that his girlfriend tried to shoot his d ick off because he was cheating on her. Then she stages the breaking and entering to make it seem like a robbery.

I know if my house got broken into a week before and a knife was placed on my bed I would arm myself to the teeth and not just pack a machette.

Then again the police could have ignored the earlier police report because he was black.

Can you imagine what could have happened had Sean not been in the house and only girlfriend and daughter? Sean is probably a hero for confronting the thugs with his machete and taking the hit himself.

Horrible that he died but this guy lived a different life that 99% of posters cannot relate too, violence was part of it.
