60 Million Guaranteed.

Quarterback Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks are close to an agreement on a contract extension, sources told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.
A source close to the negotiations told ESPN "we're close."
The deal will be a four-year extension worth $87.6 million, according to ESPN and a Sports Illustrated report.
The deal would put Wilson on par with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who is the NFL's highest-paid player with a deal worth an average of $22 million annually.
Wilson was scheduled to make $1.54 million this season, the fourth and final year of his rookie contract. If he had not agreed to the new contract, Wilson faced being tagged as the franchise player next February.

I hope Seattle doesn't win their division this year, IMO, he's not worth even 50 mllion over 4 years......so he's making pretty much what Rodgers is......can't wait for the rematch, Rodgers will light Seattle up!

If Mortenson says "we're close", that means they are far away. @)@)@)

So true!!! Just like Mortenson reported falsely that 11 of 12 balls were overinflated. Leaked to him by former Jet Kensle, now w/the NFL, who BTW was w/Jets when "spygate" was reported. The next yr he was w/the NFL?????? " Coincidence"??? I think NOT.
