I guess that means you can't come up with one, either ?

They do stupid shit like crashing their speedboats drunk and crashing airplanes as unqualified pilots ( a NYY Yankee specialty ), but they don't commit suicide ( intentionally )

That’s what I said. “I don’t know.”

But where did I say he committed suicide? And how do you unintentionally commit suicide? What the hell are you smoking.

R.i.p to him.

Unintentional overdoses happen all of the time. Especially around that age. Just a speculation off the information I’ve seen, which is hardly any. But I’m making a highly educated assumption. I’d be sort of shocked if it was anything else besides mixing prescription drugs that he shouldn’t be mixing.

not sayin this is the cause, of course......certain drugs increase risk of a cardiovascular acute event, AND one does not need to have underlying risk factors

Cocaine Triggers Heart Attacks Within One Hour

DALLAS, June 1 -- During the first hour after using cocaine, the user's risk of heart attack increases nearly 24 times, according to the first large study of the long-suspected relationship between cocaine and heart disease. The research is reported in today's Circulation: Journal of the American Heart Association.
"Cocaine significantly increases the risk of heart attack in individuals who are otherwise at low risk," says Murray A. Mittleman, M.D., Dr. P.H., of the Institute for Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, who headed the research project.
"The average age of people in the study who suffered heart attacks soon after using cocaine was only 44," Mittleman notes. "That's about 17 years younger than the average heart attack patient. Of the 38 cocaine users who had heart attacks, 29 had no prior symptoms of heart disease."

Two tragic on season deaths in MLB in recent years, both of them Angels?

No, I'm not playing the organization, just odd

You ask me about unintentional suicide, say no such thing, accuse me of smoking something, I ain't smoked so much as a cig in 13+ years, then go on to say unintentional overdoses happen all the time in this age group !

Well I say you unintentionally commit suicide by overdosing sometimes. Some people check out that way, many unintentionally commit suicide via such means

PEACE !

Mob saying he has a highly educated opinion on the event when literally nothing except no foul play is involved has been released is my lol of the day
Might be the case, might not be
Suppose you’re saying you’re highly educated at guessing? And to answer the other poster’s question, no MLB players have ODd

Suicide is on the rise throughout the country. I would look at athletes the same as actors and celebrities, we have seen quite a few people in recent years take their lives that we thought had it made: tons of money in the bank, countless fans/admiration, lavish life style/significant other. There has definetly been a culture change/mentality about how people handle issues/anxiety etc compared to generations of the past

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if increased suicide rates can be linked to the rise in internet/social media explosion

Kidman: sorry you don't off yourself with a bright future ahead.

I would off myself if terminally ill and facing a dismal, painful future, or a life in prison sentenc e.

You don't check out at 27 with a bright, albeit not HOF Calibre future

I agree 100%. If no foul play suspected then the method of suicide in a hotel room seems weird unless it was with a needle..

Sad

Suicide.
When media does not post cause of death right away, its usually suicide. Suicide has been stigmatized.
When you ask the average person in the street, are there more murders or suicides on any given day in the USA, most people will answer murders. There are more suicides than murders in the USA yearly. Murders drive media stories and are reported, suicide is seen as a sign of weakness and ignored by the profit driven media. Murders sell, suicides dont.

Suicide, I don't see it, what ballplayers commits suicide entering his prime in any sport ?

I go with something other than suicide, for certain

I don't like OD either.

Another Angel at the time

Rumor had it back then they Donnie Moore killed himself as he couldnt handle giving up the game tying HR in the 86 ALCS.

Curious if Skaggs partied too hard the nite before? He last pitched on Saturday so he had an "off day" coming up.

Curious if he was taking a "supplement" to enhance his MLB career that didnt agree with him?

Hopefully it wasnt suicide as he was young and was making good $$.
