The State AG should have his license revoked. To appeal this is absurd. he is a public servant, the public doesn't want this, the kid has already served 28 months, a judge has over turned it and the legislature has re-worked the law such that it doesn't apply to a case such as this. WTF more does he need? How this ass-clown can sleep at night is beyond me, what purpose does this serve?

This kid's attorney, while commendable for what she is doing, is entirely unequipped for this job. She lobbied for the change in the law and didn't have it made retro-active?????????????????? WTF is she doing.

ATLANTA - A man who had consensual sex with a 15-year-old girl when he was 17 is not eligible for bail while appealing his 10-year prison sentence, a judge ruled Wednesday.

The ruling is likely to mean that 21-year-old Genarlow Wilson will remain behind bars for several more months at least.

In Wednesday's ruling, Douglas County Superior Court Judge David Emerson said Wilson's conviction for one of the so-called seven deadly sins, under Georgia law, makes him ineligible for bail. He canceled a hearing that had been scheduled for July 5.
