Only guy smart enough to hold on to the boat and wear his life jacket. Football players not to smart.

It has been reported that the known survivor, Schuyler, says the other three also had life jackets. Thought I would throw that out their since it is so easy to call them dumb asses.

God answers prayers.

Which prayers of yours were answered shithead?

The fact that one was found alive or that three are still missing?

from what i read they were on a 21 foot vessel does not sound to bright to me but i am not a deep sea fisherman. around here we have lake of the ozarks i would not go out on lake of the ozarks with a 21 foo t boat. is that common to go deep sea fishing on such a small boat. i know nothing about boats i am seriously asking if this is normal.

Reports were that they were trying to go about 50 miles off-shore to a good fishing spot. They were also going into a storm............no, if that is the case, then it is not smart.

Here is the mistake I believe they made. The boat they were in is a high dollar, well made craft, that can get them to the fishing grounds fast. I am making an assumption that they new the forecast, but decided to go anyway, however running out in two footers is far different than coming home in 4-6 ft seas. They could get out to 50 miles in an hour and a quarter, but getting back may take as long as 3.5 hrs. Since the boat was found at 35 miles and they were reportedly going out to 50, it would appear that the approaching weather caught up to them and made getting back an insurmountable obstacle. Sadly it is something that happens all the time. Fortunately it usually ends up in fishermen being late to dinner and not a tragedy.

Wilheim hired 3 new mods and none of them are competent enough to clean up the scum in this thread. No wonder the talent is leaving around here.
