Strasburg is not a fade, but the nationals are a definite fade.

Stras is a GIANT fade as long as he is backed by Nats hitting and defense, Stras is a future force to be reckoned with, no doubt, but if the seven players behind him can't throw the ball, catch the ball, etc. etc, then Wonder Boy has to throw 2 hit shutouts every time out, or his team will not win.

I hear ya. I don't see lines going in the favor of the nationals too much even when strasburg is pitching. Do you?

i was hoping for a .500 season but it looks like nattys are going to be just as sorry as last year - just trying to get another #1 pick.

And I also think Boy Wonder is high quality, but as long as he pitches for Wash, he's a fade.
He's 2-2 now, and the bottom line is if you faded him all five starts, you are up over 3 units.

Strasburg lines are good fades. Faded last two and hit White Sox and Royals both around +170. Nationals shouldn't be -200 favorites to anybody.

I was waiting for this game when tracked Strasburg potential games. Saw Hudson pitching knew I had to unload. Doubled bank roll tonight.

still strasburg is not a fade, you put any pitcher in league on the nationals and when they play a decent team they will be the underdogs. Nationals suck but give my boy strasburg a break.

Harper's coming soon, if nothing else it will make for some marketable media hype, a few espn primetimes

And I think the Nats will be a contender in three years, but right now, if Vegas keeps hanging a -180 on Strass, with that team behind him, he's a fade.

If you fade Strasburg each start by the end of the year will be up money. Strasburg is the real deal, but they are still shit Nationals. Lines are crazy for him when facing similar team to Nationals. Can't wait till he faces Phillies. Automatic fade there.

looked like outs to me.. i really wasnt expecting him to induce weak ground balls and foul pop outs from every hitter... professional hitters might make solid contact once in awhile....

I think this shows that Strassy isn't ready for the All-Star game yet. If he keeps working at it and gets some run support once in a while, he'll be there next year.

I was on ATL ML and RL tonight, like everybody and their momma.
