Sengoku MMA Saitama Japan

Dave Herman vs Mu Bae Choi

My pick is Dave Herman to win

Odds : - 325 & - 345

Where : sportsbook & bookmaker

5 units to win 1.53 units & 8.62 units to win 2.5 units = 13.62 units to win 4.03 units

Records: Herman 13-0, Choi 7-3

Choi Mu Bae is more known for his staredown with Sergei Kharitonov than for his fighting skills and that's why he is going to fight with a guy who has a perfect MMA record . I am not sure where Choi's strengths are when it comes to mixed martial arts fight but I have seen none . I have no clue how Mu Bae can win this fight against a great built HW like Dave Herman who is still improving but should have way too much for someone like Choi Mu Bae .

I see either a T/KO or a GNP win for Dave Herman for sure .

Someone let this guy know that he is allowed to punch back .

Sengoku MMA Saitama Japan

Muhammed Lawal vs Yukiya Naito

My pick is Muhammed Lawal to win

Odds : 1.31

Where : bodog

10 units to win 3.1 units

Not very informed about Mo Lawal's opponent but I know that Lawal is one of the top upcoming talents in MMA , this guy is beast and has nasty ground and pound . Lawal can decide where this fight takes place , if he feels he can beat Naito in stand up he will keep it there and Naito wont be able to take him down if not Mo can get it to the ground and GNP .

Eiji Mitsuoka vs Sergey Golyaev

My pick is Eiji Mitsuoka to win

Odds : - 200

Where : bodog

10 units to win 5 units

Think Mitsuoka is a much more well rounded guy here , Golyaev won one of the funniest decisions I have ever seen in MMA against Gomi , I am not sure how much russian mafia paid for this one but anybody who has seen this fight should know what I am talking about . Golyaev has never beaten any quality opponents , when he faced them he was finished rather easily like his fight with Hansen .

I like Herman here too, the -400 hanging now is kinda shanding me off, but as long as he is prepared to fight (i think it is his first fight overseas) he should dispatch of Choi in exciting fasion. Herman has some diverse strikes.

I still have a -290 hanging on Lawal, just increased my play to 4u. Bestfightodds says it is at -350, is it just me?

BOL, may throw your other two in a small parlay.

Bad News

Herman just lost....

Rnd 2

They touch gloves again and Herman feints a push kick. Herman is standing stock straight and Choi tags him with a big right hand. Choi plants a jab as Herman push kicks. Choi charges in and presses Herman up against the ringpost. Herman spins out and sends a parting knee to Choi upon exiting the clinch. Both men, very tired, circle each other at the center, Herman’s hands down to his waist. Herman weakly feints a low kick, lands an inside leg kick just after. Herman low kick lands. Choi tags Herman with two punches, and Herman attempts to back out and walk away, but Choi isn’t as tired as he’s letting on. Choi pursues Herman and bombs away. Herman is turned with his back to Choi, doubled over the ropes, eating punches to the side of his head. As Herman isn’t intelligently defending himself, referee Hiromi Okamoto jumps in to save Herman at 2:22.

Yep , already guaranteed to finish in minus for this event . Will need Lawal to win to limit my losses tho , Mitsuoka won in the first round as expected but Herman gassed after winning the first round and walked with his hands down whole second round , was just matter of time . This guy should stick to local events , real bum even with a 13-0 record .

Mo Wins

Muhammad Lawal comes to the ring with what looks like six queens this time. One of them sprinkles rose petals in his path, while one holds his umbrella. The rest dance their way before him to the ring. Mo himself has a red cape, a gold crown, and a diamond encrusted medallion that reads “KING MO” on it. Naito goes for a high kick that misses, but hits Mo’s hand. Lawal looking for an opening, misses an opening punch, evades another kick. Lawal tags with a left hook, grazes with the right. Naito lands a low kick. Naito feints a punch and lands another low kick. Mo puts up his hands and then closes with some punches that graze a ducking Naito. Lawal lands a right, and Naito retreats. Lawal lands a body right but misses the next three punches. Naito drops his hands and teases Lawal. Lawal copies him, dropping even lower. Naito low kick lands, and Lawal returns with a knee to the body. Lawal pursues with more punches, but Naito tries to cover up and backpedal. Lawal with a body punch, but doesn’t follow up. They both miss single punches. Naito with a low kick. Lawal plants a huge right on Naito’s face, sending the mouthpiece flying. Naito covers up and walks into Lawal in an attempt to close the distance. Lawal is going crazy with the punches, unloading big shots on the Japanese fighter in the corner, who drops to his side. Lawal follows him down and lands more punches before referee Samio Kimura jumps in for the save at 3:54. Lawal asks the crowd to chant “King Mo” with him. Lawal puts the mic up to referee Kimura as well, and gets two very un-enthusiastic chants from him. Kimura fights to not crack a smile.

Both Lawal and Mitsuoka won without much trouble . Herman won the first round but had nothing left in his hand and walked with his hands down whole round and Choi finally decided to punch him making Herman turn around and fall on the ropes , this guy is a joke , he should train cardio instead of bodybuilding .

To say Herman won the first would be an understatement. He completely dominated. Choi took some serious punishment and I thought the ref was gonna step in a couple times, but he just kept comin back for more.

I think Herman mentally cracked when he didnt finish him and was so fatigued. Probably thought he had no chance of going three.

Funny that after his EXC performances he was joking about how he doesnt take training seriously and does it in his basement. If he gets his mind right and trains properly, maybe he can be a contender. Clearly very talented on the feet, havnt seen much ground work either, though.

Fair odds , Horn has nothing to hurt Palhares with and will probably get subbed sooner or later .

Coleman LOOKS HORRIBLE ! Shogun should smash him in less than 30 seconds .

Sat 1/17

UFC 93 - Welterweight 3 rounds - The O2 - Dublin, Ireland - PPV

Mauricio Rua vs Mark Coleman

My pick is Mauricio Rua to win

Odds : - 368

Where : pinnaclesports

11.04 units to win 3 units

Would do to win 5 units if not last time they fough accident but I think Coleman is so ''shot'' now that he will be nowhere near taking Mauricio down for freak injury to happen this time .

Cant blame him for getting into his for a paycheck tho , man has to feed 2 daughters but he shouldn't survive the first 2 minutes against Shogun .
