I've watched less than 1 Quarter of Brady Quinn, and I am 100% sure that he will be a better pro than Jemarcus. We already knew that, but watching him wizz that ball in there to Winslow and the way his teammates respond to him locks it all up.

Quinn had the college resume and petigree to justify a first round pick, Jemarcus tricked people into thinking he might be good because of hisappearance. His size and his arm won't make him successful alone. Quarterbacks with strong arms are a dime a dozen in the NFL.

Russell took 1 bowl game performance and turned it into the top pick in the draft.

Sort of like what Vince Young did.

Look at what happens to those teams after...

LSU losses Jemarcus + Laundry + Bow, David and lots of other talent and STILL won the BCS the following year.

Notre Dame lost Quinn and fell off the fucking map. If you looked at Notre Dame the following year you would think it was a miracle that the team was in the Sugar Bowl the year before playing for 3rd place.

The difference. Brady Quinn. It all comes back to moneyball. Quinn was the strong player with numbers and years worth of numbers to back it up. Jemarcus just tricked scouts into thinking he was good by beating up on a weak opponent and by having a strong arm and size.

Russell is horrible! He tends to think for some reason you have to throw the ball as hard as you can just to get it to the receiver. Even on screen passes he just lasers it to the RB. He has absolutely no touch on his passes. Maybe he'll be the next one of Al's draft mistakes that he cuts later in the year. :missingte

Russell is the worst QB in the league currently. He will end up almost as big a bust as Ryan Leaf!
