Its literally nothing (relatively speaking) A shot with a local so he wont feel any pain and some super glue so it wont open and bleed game time. Done and done.

absolutely agree. However no way the National Fixed League will allow them to lose in Fixboro!
Palm Shady, Belicheat, Cheatriots, National Fix League, Fixboro, Zebras, and finally best buds Roberts Krafty and Crockdell...not going to happen

3PD, where does Rappaport get his info? Closed practice to media right?

The national TV "insiders" get their info from agents, who know if their star clients haven't taken a dump in two days. The "insiders" like Glazer, Florio, the guy on ESPN have the agents' numbers because agents have to get publicity for their clients. That way players don't get bitched at by their paranoid coaches (No. 1 is Belichick) for talking to the press, but the info is out there.
This reminds me of that Bauer kid who pitches for the Indians when he cut his finger on his drone. They tried to glue it and tape it but he bled and had to leave the game. I guess if it's outside the finger it won't be bad but if he cut the inside part of the knuckle it has to be a nuisance.

One play that I think the Patriots are the best in the league at, maybe best ever (I know there are many, but this one in particular because of the situations it's used in) is the QB sneak on 3rd and 4th downs....they are so good at this play because they get to the line and snap it with no hesitation and I wonder if Brady's thumb will compromise this play because of challenges from taking the snap from under center....just a thought.

Tom Brady suffered an injury to his thumb this week. It was very painful, was reportedly “gushing blood” and required four stitches. That’s all ominous stuff with the AFC Championship Game coming up in a couple of days.
But apparently none of it is having an impact on the way Brady throws the ball. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media said he’s been told Brady threw the ball “incredibly well” during Friday’s practice.
That’s great news for the Patriots and their fans. Because, as we all know, the Patriots would have to fall back to the Brian Hoyer plan if Brady were to be unable to play. And that spells doom for the offense going up against the best defense in the NFL in the Jacksonville Jaguars.
There is another issue that will be interesting to keep an eye on during the game Sunday. Brady reportedly hasn’t been taking snaps under center — taking them all from shotgun Friday — due to the laceration on his thumb. Whether that is something that continues through Sunday’s game will certainly have an impact on what the Patriots are able to do offensively.
New England is still heavily favored to win at home, despite all the hubbub about Brady’s injury this week. Given this team’s track record at Gillette Stadium, it’s easy to see why. Should the Patriots win Sunday, they would advance to their 10th Super Bowl, extending their NFL record.

@Mobdeeper7239 what's your take on this game? Always nice to hear your thoughts/action

pretty much what I said in here. Patriots by 8 or 9 exactly. If Jax win...or if Patriots kill them by 10+ then I will look differently at the last game. It all depends for me. But I'm on pats first game but I think it will be close. Lot of people calling for jax outright win or a pats blowout. I think pats get by by 8 or 9 like I mentioned. And if I hit another exacto again for the second consecutive game I am going to quit gambling and start working for the cia like in that russel crowe movie

My issue with the superbowl potential matchup is Eagles matchup better with Pats than the Vikings do lol. Vikings Offense does not match up with Patriots defense. If that superbowl happens they aren't scoring more than 43 pts imo total. But if Eagles get to the superbowl I think they could cause problems for Patriots defense. Contrary to what the respective spreads would indicate.

Case keenum has a personality of a qb that isn't going to get down on himself. He has energy and will keep coming at you. Nick Foles is like a dead man walking sometimes and could tuck it in and waive the flag. But imo Nick Foles is the better qb, way more accurate when he isn't nervous. Both games are going to be good and relatively close I think. I do like a patriots/Vikings superbowl, but could witch on the second game still.
