Alright... so after listening to Brian rave about this place and a coworker saying it was the best american food in CR I decided I had to go and check it out for myself. First impression the place is very well done clean kitchen looked very nice decor was perfect. A little sterile not your homey neighborhood joint like Timeout. Drinks were very good and well priced. I ordered the fried clamari first came with to sauces a pesto basil sauce which was incredible and your basic marinara also good. The Calamari was cooked perfectly. I ordered the brads burger this burger was a monster. The bun was perfect must be homemade soft and toasted with butter on it amazing. The meat was the best i've had here in cr was cooked perfectly medium rare. On top of the burger was a mountain of thin tumbleweed onion rings and monterey jack cheese. I always thought outback had the best burger this beat it hands down (i've tried burgers from everywhere down here). My wife ordered the tricolor pasta with a creamy sundried tomato sauce w/ chicken. This was a homerun she absolutely loved it.Another plus they serve some entrees as a half order if your not to hungry The service was great and the staff was very friendly. 3 glasse of wine, 3 beers, appertizer, 2 entrees and the bill was 20k. Not bad at all for the quality of food and service. I highly recommend you guys all go check it out.
I just call em how i see em. I´m the last person to bash places and people but after seeing the FUCK YOU CHEAP BASTARD and all the other name calling by that hothead steve from tot, its easy why I choose Brads. Plus he went and ran to admin and said ¨please stop with the name calling i will go out of business.
TOT's not going anywhere. However, even with many of us being degenerates we all appreciate good service and some respect from an establishment we spend money on. Bad customers service is bad for any business.This "we're out of standard menu item X" happened both times I went and irritated me. Nice atmosphere, much closer to home, very friendly staff, but if it's on the menu, and I want it, I hate being told I can't have it to the point that it's basically going to be a dealbreaker. I will probably give them one more shot and if it happens again, I'll give up on it.
