My honest review of my first time at the well renowned Brads Grille in Santa Ana
Very nice first impression, although empty at 7 pm on a Sunday, still quite impressive with the staff looking very enthusiastic at the first customers coming in for the evening. Asked to put the Spurs game on, took about 20 minutes but they did get it with some very nice flat panel TV's. Had to order 3 different entree's before we were able to hit one they we able to serve, but ce la vie....the food was actually quite fresh and good.Music...literally, was the same repetative techno beat for 3 hours..literally I am not lying. Spurs game ended...having cocktails with friends...celebrating another friends BDay with about 12 people, then were presented the bill at approx 9 pm and told that they normally dont have alot of people on a Sunday, so can u please pay your bill and leave. We of course protested and said, "por favor" we have 12 people here drinking and spending money we wish to stay a bit longer we were allowed to stay when a young group of Tico customers came in to enjoy an iced tea each for 1 hour. At 10 minutes before 10 pm the manager came to us with 5 bills in hand and said they were closing, please pay so they can close and go home. Ambiance not bad. Food was a 7 out of 10..the sauce was lumpy.....no napkins.......and seriously ...I tried to be nice...but we were literally asked to leave at 9 pm...this place fucking sucks...beat pete was there ......anybody that complains about TOT should be ashamed.
