Bradley season ticket holder, going to the game tonight as I do most home games.

No way Bradley should be favored over N Iowa tonight. Hope I'm wrong, but I like to see when people are going against their own team, so take it FWIW.

I'm heading to the game in 10 minutes, if you wanna grab a beer beforehand.

Take Bradley, they win by 6 or 7 tonight.

Going with work guys and we are doing beers beforehand, but I will be in section 14 row 5. Gray Bradley t-shirt.

Anyways, maybe afterward?? Hoops on Main (1/2 price everything) or Crusen's Farmington Rd are our normal spots.

BTW, hope you're right about Bradley, but I think they lose a close one tonight.

They didn't play a good game, and still had the game in their hands. They almost had to give it away, and UNI had to hit 5 of 6 threes in the last 3 minutes.

Intensity had nothing to do with it. If they had made any shots, it would have been a dd win.

i will disagree...

if bradley plays a better 1st half...they win...

and i believe it had alot to do with playing the 'war' game on saturday. was a tough 'piggy-back' game.

Hope some people cashed...
That was sick, bro. I still can't believe what I saw last night. It was destiny. Only explanation that makes sense.

WTF was Les doing holding the ball? Some real good shots they got in the last 3 minutes, especially the last possesion. ##)

Yeah, that's it Jimmy. Hold the ball while tied with a 13 second differential. I thought he had developed into a much better coach than he was at the beginning, but he totally choked last night.

I looked for you, but had left before I got your cell # on my PM.

How can you disagree when you didn't see the game?

Congrats on a winner, then. Just don't talk some bullshit about how Bradley couldn't match intensity in their game of the year at home.

oh no...

i did not bet on that game at all...

just monitored it...

but i will stand by what i said...

the braves did not have the same intensity in that game...especially the 1st half...that they did in normal...

and it is not their fault....it was a tough spot...for bradley.... following that emotional loss in normal....which i did see...

cheers...:toast:

It was a well defended game on both ends until the barrage at the end. UNI is a well-coached team. They aren't that good, but they make the most of what they have. That big guy is a joke, but they get him the ball when he gets behind people, and get layups out of it. And they are able to get open looks from 3 when he draws a double on the blocks.

But they are not the Drake of last year, like some are saying. They just aren't that good. ISU is going to spank them when they come to Normal.

I'm just still very pissed off at how this game finished. Some friends bet this game based on my opinion, and I can tell they are pissed at me, even thought I felt 100% that it was the right side, and still do.

Better to just keep my opinions to myself, and not have to feel responsible for them losing money.

Sorry if I seemed like a prick to you.

illini...

i understand where you are coming from here...

when i used to go to busch...with a group of fellas...i would not tell 'em anything... about which side, o/u...i was on until after the 1st pitch...

that way they enjoyed the game...and i did too...win or lose...

sorry the braves let you down the other night.

PS...all systems go on carpenter...and he will let it rip in jupiter...so huge for that rotation if he can give 'em 200+innings this year.

I'm trying not to get excited, because the Cards are a longshot this year. But fuck it. They were a longshot before 2004 started, and .500 after April, and ran away with the best record in baseball.

Hear that little voice inside of you? It's your heart telling you to come back to the Cardinals. Jack Buck is still alive and well in my memories, and I'm ready to make some new ones. Come home, my brother.

IF carp is 100% for the season...lookout...

rasmus could hit his way onto the team this spring...

i am interested in seeing wallace get his chances at 3b...but have read that freese could be the guy...

the best player in mlb...and reigning MVP...

a SS that can actually hit for power...and will be playing for a contract...

name a mlb pitcher that can throw harder than motte? what if he was able to develop a changeup?

kinney is 100%...and who knows...maybe he ends up being the closer.

they have a decent team...and if that penny-pinching dewitt would open the checkbook and sign orlando hudson...

:103631605

only thing i do not like about this club is adam kennedy and no aaron miles...mozeliak needs to get a 'miles' type of player for larussa...he makes too many moves not to have a super-utility player...and i am also not a fan of thurston...yet that is.
