WOW anyone think Oklahoma would have covered this game if he kept playing? To be honest i think they would have won but not covered.

Also BYU came out taking NO SHIT from Oklahoma. A couple fights almost happened early. BYU will be tough all year. All i kept hearing was how many injuries they had also.

Now if they go 12-0 they wont get a BCS title shot???

It amazes me that for the time you have been on this site, an inordinate amount of your posts pertain to OU. What gives? I could care less about what goes on in Austin. You behave like a closet Ok St fan. Hopefully as you get older, your self worth won't be defined by a football team.

You say that all the time bellyputter. We get a kick out of watching OU panic and squirm. Especially after last season. Get over it.

My self worth is defined by my family and the money I make. I love college football. Don't cry because you're sad that OU's season is over.

breaking news. too bad for him. seems like a nice guy (even if he's on a rival team :)

i think the backup will do OK once the OL and WRs settle in and Gresham comes back. he didnt look terrible but the offense didnt have a very good flow behind that OL.

i wonder how this will affect Bradford's draft status.

I jumped on BYU second half after he went down just before the end of the first half. At least he was smart enough to insure himself this year when he decided not to go pro and return to college.

Too bad Bobby Stoops begged him and Gresham to come back instead of looking out for the better of both of them and grabbing the money when it was there for the taking.

what does the insurance cover though? Bradford will still be drafted.
i thought the insurance would be against something really career ending/threatening

Assuming this is true ^^ (I haven't read any reports confirming), the worst thing about this for us Longhorn fans is that it significantly lowers our stregth of schedule for the end of the year, especially if the Sooners drop a few more games throughout the season. We've got a lot of season left and anything can happen, but let's just say a one loss Florida team was a no-brainer pick in the NC game last year over a one loss Oklahoma, a one loss Texas, a one loss USC, a one loss Penn State, etc.

As a Longhorn fan, there's a part of me that is laughing inside and a part of me that wants to play Oklahoma fully healthy, without excuses and leave it out on the field. Although Okie State looked good yesterday, the Big 12 could look like the Big 1 this year ala USC. And that never works for them.

I didn't lose one minute of sleep over last night's result because I had nothing to do with the outcome. Getting satisfaction from other people's misery is definitely a serious character flaw. Your family must be proud! Karma is a bitch, and it strikes when you least expect it.

The vast majority of these insurance policies only pay if the player completely gives up football due to injury.

So, if here to try and make a comeback which he will, then he won't collect a penny from the insurance company.

This is why you go pro when you are the 1st overall pick. Obviously, he is not as smart as I thought.

And if BYU goes 12-0 with wins over OKLAHOMA and FLORIDA STATE?

That would be highway robbery. if they get shafted.

Not "we." YOU. You get a kick out of it.

Every Longhorn fan I know wants OU to win every game they play except for the one in Dallas. Beating a strong Oklahoma team makes the win that much sweeter.

You're obsessed with OU the way Aggie fans are obsessesed with Texas. It's creepy.
