I did actually give Napoleon Dynamite a full shake earlier this week when it was up against nothing else I wanted to watch. (Nearly all my television watching is supplemental to my online work)
It had some pretty funny moments, but overall it's pretty lightweight.
Fun Fact - It was filmed just 20 miles north of where Barman Jr spent his teenage years, so that added some watching fun for me as I am familiar with the region and many of the cultural oddness (to us Big City Folk)

I'm with you Barman, Bad Santa is a great comedy. Totally missed it this year, but I've seen it about 20 tiems probably.
First time I saw it was probably 4 years after if was out and watched it cause nothing was on not expecting much. Man, it had me rolling and thinking how the fuck did I not know about this movie before.
