Boys, I just walked into an Online Casino...It was not pretty!

I was bored a couple nights ago, and decided I would play a little online black jack...

As I have stated many times, I would NEVER play Online Casino games...

Well, call it what you want, boredom, curious, degenerate, I did just that :neenee:

I was curious more than anything, vowing to only play 1,2,3 maybe 5 bucks a hand, was my thoughts going into the adventure...

I had no intention or desire to play for any "Real Money" ...So, I played for about 10 minutes tops.....I won like 20 bucks, I was bracketing my plays as I won or lost, if i lost I would up the next wager a couple bucks, trying to avoid any long losing streaks, I don't think i lost more than three hands in a row...I didn't notice anything unusual, no strange streaks, the cards seemed to fluctuate nicely...the problem was it was 'FUN' :toothless

So, I went back in last night, after MNF...I did win a little again another 25 after I was done, pretty much sticking with my same formula...the problem was I started liking the game...The last thing i wanted to do

I feel I may start doing this , anytime I am bored or waiting for a game to start or just passing a little time...I can see where this could be trouble, I am adament about not playing casino games, preach to everyone never to play and I do just that

..So guess what, I was back again today...This time though, I had a few 3-4 game losing streaks..I found myself upping my bets, lol, to 100 a game for just a few, but you get my drift...I had indeed arrived as a bonafide online casino game 'crack head ' ...I was fortunate to get out with a slight profit..But only after doubling down up to 100 bucks a hand...

Now I assure you all, I would not even be in the online casino had I not been absolutely killing the book lately, perhaps my best run of all time, but still, I felt the fever....

Here I went in for a little 1-2-3 dollar BJ , and 3 days later I'm throwing down 100 a hand :neenee:

The good news is I won maybe 100 bucks, the bad news is I won maybe 100 bucks:biglaugh: ...all kidding aside, I would have quit either way shortly after getting burned (IF THAT HAPPENED) for a couple hundred, but the problem I have personally, I was in there and on the scene of a BlackJack game

Something I swore I' d never do :neenee: ...

Has anyone else ever made there way into an online casino game just out of curiousity?

J, which Casino...

I tried PINNACLE blackjack a few times.... Lost about 150$ playing 5 bucks a hand... it was INCREDIBLE bad luck....

I emailed em & told me to ban them from their Casino.... I didnt want to play no more.

I wrote the post just so i would remember it, and to teach myself a lesson if you will....Its so easy to click that 100 dollar chip and let it go....

It was way too easy to click that 100 dollar blue chip...yikes!!

I won't be back...It was more out of curiousity, I kept waiting for the dealer to deal me these ridiculous hands, but it never happened....I just hate losing, and even when i got slightly down HAD to get it back....It was not good....

I normally bet the same amt basically every time when it comes to sports wagers , but I was in there chasing away,lol...even if it was on a small scale it still made me think alot afterward...

The thing that I eventually learned is that the pain of losing all your money is much worse than getting your balance to whichever number was your goal.

thanks Baus...very true...I didn't reall have any intentions, but once i slipped 'under' I didn't like it, and needed to 'get it back'...its very strange though, i do not have that problem when betting sports, and i'm talking about a very small figure in comparison to my sports bets...

I'm the type who can bet alot of money on sports, walk into a land casino and freak about losing 80 bucks:biglaugh: ...its like two totaly different sets of feelings...I have only gambled in casino's maybe 5 times lifetime:heh:

With online casino play, you don't really know if you are getting a fair game. So when you lose, you feel like you are getting f**ked. Which creates the anger.

With sports, you know you had a fair chance of winning. There wasn't a conspiracy against you. There wasn't a crooked piece of software stealing your money.

First of all , JMAN - I know your feeling all too well. I have been gambling at online casinos for about 3 years now.

It all started with my gambaholic roomates in University 3 years ago to the day. In fact it was them who got me into Gambling on Sports through offshore books.

Not to take anything away from the experiences I had, but the SPORTS side of the equation has been more fun than playing online BJ.

I want to share one story with all of you about an online casino that once existed CASINO ATLANTIS ONLINE. Yes the famous casino in Nassau is the only casino that I have ever won anything from.

They used to have this really fancy interface for online gamblers and special game that my roomate and I LOVED PLAYING!

Super 7 Blackjack. Now this is a game ladies and gentlemen.

We deposited $100 and started playing $5 - $10 dollar a hand with the $1 dollar on the super seven spot. 3 Suited 7s and you win $1500, 3 unsuited 7s and you win $500.

Well let me tell you, i'm not sure if we were the first ever to play at this online casino and the software was malfunctioning, but we hit 3 unsuited 7s TWICE in the same night for a $1000 pay day. Add in our black jack winnings and the 100$ intro MATCH offer and we cashed out nearly $1400 that morning (was 5 am by the time we stopped giving eachother high fives and giggling)

Almost 2 years later I walked into Casino Atlantis in person (I was working on cruise ships and we had an overnight in Nassau) with a grin on my face. I sat down at the Black Jack table with all my comrades and ONCE again took the casino for a nice $500 profit by 4:30 AM when they kicked us all out!!!

I guess the point here is that Winning at online casinos is few and far between and just SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

The worst thing thats happened to me in the last MONTH is PINNACLE introducing their ONLINE CASINO. However, for some strange reason I win consistently at their blackjack. Has anyone else had sucess at their software?

I think I will be asking them to BAN me from the casino.... What a great Idea!
