3* Cleveland Cavs 1st Half -1 -110
FYI I think Cleveland is a big fat square play tonight. Every Joe Blow couhc potato that thinks they know sports says "No way Lebron loses this game."
Newsflash: Shit happens.
Lebron is 24, hasn't hit his prime yet, has limited supporting cast, and doesn't appear to have developed his own killer instinct yet to close out games. Orlando has shown no reason why they shouldn't be favored here on their home floor. Without Lebron's miracle chuck, we are looking at a potential 3-0 series here.
So, not really sure what happens over the course of a full game here.
What I do know is that the Cavs are in a MUST-WIN situation. I also know the Cavs have gotten out to fast starts in each game in this series, leading Orlando by double digits at half time in the 1st 2 games, and trailing only by 1 in Game 3 in Orlando.
Sometimes in the NBA, even in the playoffs, your superstar cruises through the games that don't mean much in the 1st half, and tries to steal a win late.
Cavs can't afford that type of mentality tonight. I think Lebron puts his head down and barrels towards the rim right out of the gate, and starts putting people in foul trouble early. I think Lebron doesn't hold anything back here, right from the tip off, and I think his team is confident that they can support him as evidenced by The Guarantee.
Lebron's miracle shot seems like decades ago, and the honeymoon for the Cavs and that shot is over. Time to get back to work and get back to business and that starst at tip off for the Cavs.
I may have a play for the 2nd half, and my gut tells me the Magic win this game in the end. But for the 1st half, I really feel like Cleveland goes balls to the wall, and goes for the jugular early and goes into half up 6-10 points.
