6-5, +4.60, Streak: L1
3* Tigers/Indians over 9 -115
3 game win streak was snapped on Friday when the Brewers and Turnbow blew a 5-3 lead in the 9th to lose 6-5. Shit happens.
Looking to bounce back today, I like the over in the Tigers/Indians ballgame.
This is more of a personal observation play than a full blown analysis. I can't count how many times that the Indians either blow out or get blown out at home. When Cleveland plays at home it always seems to be a 13-3 game in either sides favor. The place has been grounds for blowouts left and right. With the quality of a team like the Tigers, plus the fact that Cleveland should be pretty packed tonight for the game against the best record in baseball, we should have an intense game, with some runs scored.
On top of that, you have Bonderman who has struggled in the past against Cleveland. This could be a let down spot for him, even though the Indians are a solid club, his last start he was probably pumped for against the defending champs. Now hes on the road at Cleveland. I think he's in a tough spot here.
Finally, a lot of bats have had great success against Cliff Lee. Lots of key hitters hitting good averages against him. As a team, about .300.
Good Luck.
