2008 Overall: 8-9, -8.00 units, 47%
2007 Overall: 60-42, +45.45 units, 59%
2006 Overall: 65-36, +45.49 units, 64%

Still sort of sputtering winning every other play in the early part of the season, and then losing a big play on OSU who I thought would have some pride and put up a much better fight. Still looking to find my bearings. Those that take these plays into consideration, I would suggest waiting for me to have a good winning week and showing I have turned the corner for the season, because there will be no looking back at that point. Good luck!

4* Alabama Crimson Tide -9.5 -110

Bama's #1 rush defense will turn the Razorbacks one dimensional, and Saban's physical football team will run away with this one in the SEC opener. Razorbacks have had trouble punching it in.

2* Buffalo Bulls +32 -110

Buffalo has done some good things in the early part of the season. This team can pass the ball and I think we see Buffalo put up 17+ today on a questionable Mizzou defense. Bulls senior QB Drew Willy will have his team ready to play after the last second win last week, and although Mizzou has looked unstoppable, they WILL NOT not keep up this ridiculous pace and with Nebraska on deck next week I am guessing we see a slight look ahead here with Mizzou pulling away late.

Isnt the strength of the Razorbacks their passing game?

Yes, it absolutely is. But I think you need to be able to run the football with some success. A one-dimensional offense is never a good thing.

Arkansas has the #10 pass defense in the country playing 2 cupcake teams, and it has resulted in a 28-24 and 28-27 final scores because they can't punch it in. I think Alabama's defense is too good to come at them without any sort of balance on offense.

3* Arizona/UCLA UNDER 52 -110
1* UCLA Bruins +3.5 -110

Dont think about a Pac-10 score-fest here. These are two of the better defenses in the Pac-10, regardless of what happened at BYU. UCLA plays very good defense at home, especially as an underdog. UCLA shut out last week at BYU, I dont expect them to go off vs. Zona.

I like Buffalo a little today as well...but just FYI, Mizzou doesn't play Nebraska next week, they have next week off.

Thanks for that. Looks like I looked at the schedule wrong.

Either way, it wasnt the basis for the play - just another reason. So I'm not worried.

2* Auburn Tigers +2 -110

Auburn at night is one of the toughest venues in college football. The big story was a 3-2 win for Auburn last week, overshadowing the fact that this Auburn defense has given up 0, 13 and 2 points in their first 3 games. Auburn's 3-2 game was on the road in Todd's first start of the year at QB. Now, LSU will have to deal with a rook QB making his first road start as LSU should play pretty conservative on offense while Hatch gets baptism under fire. LSU will continue to pound the rock, but Charles Scott will find little running room vs. a jacked up Auburn defense with the #9 rush defense in the land. Auburn is battle-tested in this young season, playing better competition, and already having a tight road win under their belt.

Yeah, I knew that wasn't the basis of the Buffalo selection...I'm a Bull fan today as well!

You think you'll add any more plays today?

Good luck.

Box, what do you think about your gators today???

No play for me.

I think this may be the toughest game on the schedule for Florida, especially after Tennessee lost to UCLA in the opener. Toughest game because it is the first road game, Vols have revenge on the mind, its the Gator defense first real test, FL O-line has been bad without LG Jim Tartt, Vols D-line is tough, and Gators may take the Vols lightly. Yes I said it and I mean it.

With FL off a big in-state win over rival Miami, and FL beating the Vols 59-20 last year, and Vols unranked, and a big home underdog in a big rivalry game, all intangibles go to Tennessee except for 2 big ones:

-Urban Meyer has a ridiculous record off a bye week.
-Urban Meyer is like 10-1 vs. his rivals (FSU, UM, Tennessee, UGA) since taking over at FL.

Florida didnt beat the Vols as bad as the scoreboard said last year, and a few turnovers were key.

Tebow is a tough guy and he will be fine on the road as he always has. I think Gators win a tight one.

I dont think so. I think Im happy with the card.

I have been looking at the FSU and UGA games. I have thoughts on the games, want to see how my day goes. If I have a losing day, I will not play them. If I have a winning day, I may look to stay hot and stick with my feelings on those two night games.
