Hitting about 50% in NFL, so tread carefully...but had this one circled for a long time....

4* Philadelphia Eagles -3 -110

New York Giants are one of the most penalized teams in the NFL. Expect these mistakes to continue on the road when the pressure comes from all angles. This game is HUGE to the Eagles, they need to have this one.

Giants typically struggle mid-season under Coughlin. I don't know if you have noticed, but it's like the Giants always need some kind of motivation to play well. Whether it's Coughlin about to lose his job, or being in the playoffs, or trying to beat the undefeated Patriots (regular season or postseason), or trying to go undefeated themselves and defend their title. They struggle when the games start to grind under Coughlin. That is a sign of coaching and a mindset of this team.

These guys have gotten blown out and lost straight up in a big way everytime November hits, and the season starts to go a little stale. Actually found a trend that says the Giants are 17-35-2 ATS in their last 54 games in November.

The Giants lost Strahan to retirement, Umenyura to injury. Their two best pass rushers. They have a lot of depth at the position, but rushing the passer has been a big part of their success and as that depth begins to dwindle, so will their results.

McNabb is a good QB to move away from pressure and make things happen with his feet.

The Eagles have the versatility of Westbrook who needs to be covered in the flats and out of the backfield, not allowing the Giants to bring different blitz packages with the linebackers, and they always have to stay home and watch him out of the backfield. This should keep the Giants honest.

You want to pick your spots to bet aganst the Giants, and a road division game seems like a great spot. The Giants only loss this year came on the road, meanwhile the Eagles are 3-1 at home.

Eagles will bring a bunch of blitz packages tonight to frustrate Eli Manning, who has gotten frustrated at times already this year. Expect the deer in headlights look from Eli tonight.

Laying a FG is a beautiful thing here. If the spread was 6, or 7, Id still like the play but not as much. Very safe time to bet against the Giants here.

Dont underesitame the Eagles against good teams. Eagles are 4-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

Eagles offense and defense have been clicking last 3 games. They are playing good football right now.

Eagles allow just 11PPG at HOME. They will be READY to play tonight!

I'm not saying that the square play always loses or is always the wrong side... just making a point that the Eagles aren't the square side in this game

Tough weekend, Box. Not many of us had great weekends. You'll bounce back.

Looks like Philly is going down. Their fucking defense couldn't stop a pack of cub scouts tonight.

(yes, still plenty of time...and yes, I'm in the full reverse jinx mode).
