Adding a play for tonight

Ouma by 10 round decision -153 small

How Ouma was cracking this guy from the opening bell, it looked like Cuevas was lucky to make it out of Round One. If I had D. Hopkins by decision I would be pissed! He gets the KO near the end of round 9. It looked like it would make it for sure.

Cuevas had never been stopped and easily went 12 with Taylor at 160

Now he gets stopped by one of the lightest punchers at 154???

Go figure...

Motivation can turn a light puncher into stone hands when need be. Ouma needed a convincing victory to redeem his marketability and more importantly himself. Good call on the under in the Hopkins fight. Was going to play that too but didn't pull the trigger.

You think Manfredo Jr. stands a chance tonight? It's at +270 right now?? I was thinking about taking this until I heard that Mora was training with I believe Margarito. Not sure now and have less than 5 minutes to decide?

The fight is in Mora's hometown and he dominated Manfredo the firtst time out. One judge scored it a shutout. Hard to imagine much changing in the rematch given the location. Mafredo's from RI so he won't have near the crowd support.

I might play Mora at -289

Only two things bother me here, Mora could be overconfident after winning the first fight so easily. The politcis of this fight suggest that a Manfredo win would set up even more money for everyone with a third fight.

The politics kept me off before, but after thinking about it, the last thing espn wants is a contraversy. With the fight being in Mora's backyard, if Mora scholls Manfredo again but judges give the fight to Manfredo the crowd will go absolutley crazy on live television.

I'm laying the wood and playing Mora -289 small

Bonsante won 3 out of 4 rounds against Brinkley before getting careless in the final round. His "trainer" Williams told him it was a close fight and he needed to win the last round big, so he went toe to toe and got caught with a perfect uppercut. He knows what he did right for 4 rounds and he knows what he did wrong in 1 round, he learned his lesson.

Great price on Bonsante at +335

Bonsante got screwed, well worth a shot at +335

Mora wins by split decision despite the huge cut over his eye

Still no results for Caballero

That was a fucking joke. No way Mora should have won that fight. He didnt do anything. Maybe won 2 of the 8 rounds. Underdog landed many more punches and was not hurt at all. I still cannot believe the result of this one. This sport is fixed. I now know this is fact. No other way to explain what just happened. This is a joke. Fucking disgusting.

It was that one sided? I can't wait to see this on replay.

No, it was not one sided...

Mora suffered a very bad cut in the first round, not only did the blood distract his vision, the severity of the cut took him completely out of his gameplan. Without the cut, Mora would've easily outboxed Manfredo like he did the first time. With the huge cut threatening the length of the fight, Mora became overly aggressive and fought Manfredo's fight all the way.

Btw, Mora had Manfredo hurt in the 5th, much more than Manfredo ever hurt Mora

The better guy won...imo

I had the fight as a draw, 4 rounds each. Teddy Atlas was commentating during some of those rounds that Mora won as though Manfredo wasn't even touched. Not sure what he was watching. I agree with Boxlocks that Mora was forced to change his style given the nasty gash over the left eye. Would have been interesting had the fight been scheduled for 10 rounds. I felt guilty takin the cash with Mora. Laying -280 definately was worth sweating over.

The Bonsante decision on the other hand was a total joke. Glad I didn't take a small piece there.

Why was the home crowd booing Mora then? Again I woke up during the last round.

First of all, the LA crowd wasn't as one sided for Mora as I thought it would be, during the fight I couldn't tell a difference when each guy landed.

Second of all, the crowd always roots for the guy who's coming forward throwing shots...the agressor. They don't care if the shots aren't landing or if the other guy is cleverly countering with more effective shots, they just want action and more beer.

I can't tell you how many fights I've been to (and seen on TV) where the crowd was completely wrong about who actually won the fight.
