Anyone know why no one has posted any lines yet for this week? I think Jersy Girl might do surprisingly well.

got an email from WSEX, no lines will be posted this week. I wonder why Intertops doesn't have any lines either. I asked WSEX if they were going to have lines next week and didn't get a response.

I'm taking the Over on Scooby Do... how much can a movie drop? 40 million? I don't think so.

don't think the movie chart is working right. Some movies are showing up that shouldn't be.

I'm using gut feeling for this weekend's movies.

Yeah KO I don't know, I was shocked when the first one made like 50+ it's firts weekend so I don't really have a clue what this one will do. It looks better than the last one, which was total and utter crap, so how many people are going to come back for more? Maybe a lot. But it's still not on the chart, that can't be good. The reason Garfield is on there I believe is because they have an ad banner for it up on their sight. Gil,

maybe it would have been better if I never got in to place this bet, but, I'm taking Jersy Girl over 10 million +500 for 1/2 a unit.

It's #2 on moviefone now, which might not mean shit, but there's also a lot of message-board buzz, which might not mean squat either... might just be negative buzz similar to Gigli but hey some people are predicting slightly over 10 million so +500 ain't bad. This one isn't going to tank like Gigli did, hardly anyone knows Jaylo is in the flick, and Kevin Smith and Liv Tyler are both positive draws.

ah WSEX ended up putting up a line afterall. I took Scooby under 27 -140 1.4 units. It's only #8 on moviefone, but it is the only movie coming out this week that's on the buzz chart, with a measly 8 points, which isn't THAT bad, but, these two factors warrant a play on the under.

You're having problems getting onto Intertops... I've been having problems placing a post on this forum. Here are my plays this week - all one unit:

The LadyKillers: 12million to 16.9 million +120

Jersey Girl: 7 million to 9.9 Million +130

Scooby-Doo 2: 19million to 26.9 million +105

Scooby-Doo 2: Under 27 million -140 (i usually don't bet the negative)

damn... its been a while since I checked that Yahoo chart, usually it isn't really helpful but being #1 is a great sign for Scooby

ak! Scooby Doo is getting good crowd reports. I didn't see even one report for Jersey Girl either which is a very bad sign. Ladykillers, on the other hand, seems to be doing somewhat surprisingly well.
