I have tremendous respect for this book and their man in charge Scott K.

Thought I would share with you an email I recieved from Scott last Friday morning shortly after I placed a $400 wager on Georgia.


I absolutely can't believe you. If I were next to you I would throw cold water in your face to wake you up. You just bet GA. -6.5 -110 and we are in the midst of changing the -110 to -105. Remember our Friday specials until the website is fixed. If you would have waited 5 more minutes it would be -105. Therefore, I am cancelling your wager and putting it back in at -105. Fish, what am I going to do with you.

Scott is not only first class, he knows what the hell he is doing. Those are two strong qualities that are rare, offshore or in Vegas.

I just wish Scotty K was around when the Rams beat the Titans in the Superbowl. Had a Bowmans $100 eight prop parlay for $15,000 that lost because it landed exactly on the spread.

7-0-1 equals ZERO.

What made it even worse is I won and lost five dimes the very same week and that was all I had left. I almost pulled off a Super Miracle.

I swear, I have been badbeated every which way but loose when it comes to five figures. Pisses me off!

Thats a classy act.

And make no mistake of it, He still wants your money like any other bookmaker.

What sets this guy apart, is that he'd rather take the opportunity to show good faith and excellent customer service, to go beyond the call of duty, and make sure that you rather bet with him down the road.

Taking an extra 20 bucks in juice for your bet does not compare to letting you keep it, and taking the opportunity to win a customers heart.

Thats excellent business and excellent character. The greedy bookies cannot even compare and won't understand this. That guy will be around for quite some time because he sees the big picture.

Good to see one of the good old shops making a come back.

Let's say I deposit $1000 on the 1st of the month.

At the end of the month I have $200 left in my account.

Do they then put $80 in my account?

Only oddsmaker I ever had an extended conversation with who acted sincere and like he gave a darn. And I am strictly a small, very small player at Bowmans. Didn't matter, he treated me like a king. Hats off to him.

I have known Scott since 1981 and even worked with him for a few years here in Vegas. I have always found him to be a cool dude with a good sense of humor.
