Here is what I have so far,

HAWAII –10 vs. Houston

Got a lot of insight on this game in co-captains thread, and based on that, as well as other information I’m going to lay the lumber and go with HAWAII. I must add that “the distraction” factor played a huge part in my decision. We saw what happened last night with a New Mexico team that was “distracted”. I suspect beaver, booze, and youth will be the demise of the Cougars!!!!

BOWLING GREEN –6.5 vs. Northwestern

BOWLING GREEN OVER 54

This game is bigger than Bowling Green,'' star quarterback Josh Harris said. ``We are representing the MAC conference for the Northern Illinois and the Toledos and the Marshalls that are sitting at home in December without an opportunity to play in a bowl game.'' The falcons will light up the scoreboard against a defense that’s allowing 412.6 ypg.

VIRGINIA TECH –3 vs. Cal.

I’m going against my beloved CAL. in this one. The Hokies have too many weapons and should have no problem in covering this small number. Speaking of small numbers the line seems very appetizing especially with the news of receiver Geoff McArthur breaking his arm and will miss the game. Grab it now, yum, yum!!

PITTSBURGH +2½ vs. Virginia

Here is yet another “stud player going to the pro's ” bowl game (Larry Fitzgerald), and we’ve see what’s been happening.

MICHIGAN ST +3.5 vs. Nebraska

I come up being on the Spartans side. Huskers can't play inside, and coaching staff that's operating in a vacuum. Take the points!!

TEXAS TECH –12 **** vs. the Navy

In this one, it’s easy for me to give up double digits to the Middies. Red Raiders will be throwing, throwing, and throwing all day. Way too much for Navy’s defense to handle.

TEXAS TECH OVER 73.5

Sounds nutty? Well maybe so, but I’m working under the logic that in certain situations the odds makers are forced into not being able to post the right number for fear of the action being lopsided. I think it applies here.

WASHINGTON ST +9 vs. Texas

Truth be told this is a bet against a very predictable Mac Brown. I love Wash. St. in this spot. Take the points!!!

Wisconsin +3 vs. Auburn

Reversed from earlier post. You guys are right. Tubberville stinks, and Evans is a monster. A brain fart on my part.

More to come.

Thanks,
Henry

Love your wash st pick but your auburn pick is dead wrong. The auburn off is the predictable boring one. Wisky comes at you from all directions when Sorgi plays.

agree with a.c.....davis and sorgi are healthy.....alvarez` record in bowl games is exceptional.....lee evans is a monster....

sorgi`s like glass,though...this badger club has been injured all year....this is the healthiest they`ve been....but if sorgi goes down, all bets are off...their back-ups are horrible...

it will have to be the cadillac williams show and defense,defense,defense......auburn`s qb,imo,is more of a liability than a benefit...

and tuberville???.....a pedestrian coach....

if i were that auburn "d",i`d try and get sorgi and davis out of there....then it get`s alot easier...

You both make very excellent points, and a need to look at this one is in order. I have no problem changing positions in face of logic. That's what a forum is all about. Thanks for your input

Here are the rest………….

GEORGIA –3 **** vs. Purdue

Georgia is third best in the league in committing turnovers with 1.2 per game. Bulldogs are the toughest team to score on in the league, allowing just 11.9 per game.

MICHIGAN +7 vs. USC

Arguably USC is loaded with talent. However, the Wolverines are the best team USC will have faced this year, and vice versa. If Navarre plays and Carr coaches, I like Michigan chances getting nearly a touchdown.

TENNESSEE –5.5 vs. Clemson

Not a fan of either coach, however I’ll take the sixth ranked team in the country to cover this small number.

OHIO STATE + 7 vs. Kansas St.

The season can be considered by many as a bust for the Buckeyes if they don’t beat KS. Number 7 vs. number 8 promises to be a good one. I’ll take the TD.

Oaklahoma –6 vs. LSU

My heart say LSU, but my pocket book say’s Sooners!!!

Thanks,
Henry
