It used to be the LIBERTY BOWL UNDERDOG team knew about all the hype surrounding the DOG in this affair and I'm sure that gave some players the thought of "hey, we can win this game".

If I recall correctly, not only did the DOG cover many times in the LIBERTY BOWL, but they won outright as well.

PLEASE NOTE, in terms of TRENDS, me recommendation is to use them as only a small source of ones overall analysis/handicapping of a game...........for me personally, it will tend to keep me OFF of more games than putting me ON certain games.

Bowl Dogs with better Power ratings are 15-5 ATS last 3 yrs.
Bowl Dogs with run D (min. 0.5 ypc less) are 14-3 the last 3 yrs.
Double digit bowl dogs are right around 70% the last 10 yrs.
