This evening I tried to place a large wager on Pitt through Bovada. I received a message from them that said my wager limit for the game was 500. I have on several occasions wagered over 500 with them in the past. I immediately emailed them and I was advised that the limit was for this game at the discretion of the sportsbook manager. Has anyone ever had this happen to them?

Dude, why are you playing with a stupid book like that?

Only thing that happened to me & a friend was we weren't allowed to send money to each others accounts after we hit some big parlays at bookmaker in November.......

They said we can bet up to the limit & win & collect as much as we wanted but no transferring funds from one to another.

I suggest you switch books......lmao@ $500 limit.......local books allow way bigger amounts.

I understand what your saying. I mainly play at 5dimes. Im normally a dog player and often can get favorable lines betting the dogs with bovada though.

I understand, but I rather have a legit book that's gonna treat me right, than a book that's gonna entice me as a dog player but limit my play........

I have a local that's better than Bovada.......his dogs are 1 to 1.5 points higher than anyone else's, & I.do use him, but when its time to bet the fav, he never sees my action.

This is the first time its ever happened. Ive been beating up on them pretty good this year. What I want to find out and I will tomorrow is....are they limiting all my action or just for this game.

Less is more Ike. Don't bring it up. Don't draw attention. Just be happy you can get money down on off market odds at all.

5dimes is getting raked over the coals on twitter for their VERY shady full season NFL bets. After season is over, they started cancelling bets that they surely would have lost a lot of money on while inconsistently grading others where they likely won.

For example, if you took

AP -2 TDs over Alfred Morris YOU LOST

if you took

Luck -2 TDs over Cam Newton BET CANCELLED

why? because Cam didnt play week 1.

pay no mind that AP didnt play ALL YEAR.

BOL paid the Luck over Cam bet too.

I can and will no longer recommend 5Dimes to anyone. They are straight up stealing people's money

They are probably cutting your limits across the board.

And.... no matter what anyone says.... if you continues to beat them..... especially on underdogs..... they will ABSOLUTELY cut your water off all together. GUARANTEED!!!

Can not wait for sports betting to be legalized on the east coast........

I've never has a problem.with bookmaker, but it takes forever to get your money in installments monthly........gone are the days where you could pull out 9k w/o suspicion at the bank.

Rather drive to Delaware Park sports book & play my parlays there anything over 4 teams, since my local won't take anything over 4 teams.

They don't like winners there. So you have to deal with their referral process for larger wagers so they can add on juice or make it a tougher line.

Bovada pays out free once a month. They are chickens but pay

See... this is the crap in here.

Fact is they won't pay long if you win much or often.

They are chicken shit and not worth trust from a real player.
