Doc Rivers says he can't even get on a bike without stiffness and swelling. Also said he wasn't sure how Garnett could even play in the playoffs. Sad news for the defending champs.

Think the Bulls have a very solid chance of taking them out.

No shot for the Bulls. Rondo is one of a very few NBA guards who can actually stick with Rose every now and then, therefore limiting the drive and kick to the outside shooters.

Even with Garnett out, the Bulls are badly out manned on the boards. Perkins, Poe, Davis, and Moore will be licking their chops when Miller comes into the game and Noah is simply to thin to control any of the Boston bigs other than Moore.

Pierce is still one of the best clutch players of all time and they still have Ray Allen. If the Bulls had just 1 big guy to counter all the size of the Celtics it would be a different story. Thomas is like Noah, tall and thin. Davis, Poe, and Perkins are tall and thick. They are too big for the Bulls.

That being said, this will make the Cavs vs Celtics a good series to watch. With a healthy Garnett it would be a 4-2 Boston win, even with the Cavs having home court. With Garnett out its 50/50.

With Garnett out, cleveland is the third best team in the East. They were a regular season team who simply tried harder with younger players in the regular season and got a good record. They will not be as impressive in the playoffs.

Orlando is better than Cleveland

Boston is better than Cleveland.

If Detroit wouldn't have pulled the worst trade in NBA history, they would be better too.

And watchout for the Hawks vs Cleveland in the 2nd round. Upset city, hawks are a more talented team all around. Remember Atl took Boston to 7 games last year.

Thats not what I said. In the regular season, some teams simply don't try as hard.

Cleveland had tons of young players and superman in Lebron James who can give 100% all game every game and not get tired.

Even Dwayne Wade, watch him and at the end of his games he is exhausted. James simply doesn't get tired. I watched Cleveland a lot and when the other team matched their intensity, no matter what team it was Cleveland struggled. When playing at Cleveland, teams simply didn't try. That won't be the case in the playoffs.

In the playoffs all the teams will be trying 100% all the time, without worry about fatigue in the long run. Cleveland is James and Williams. Thats it. Detroit even has more weapons.

How do you figure Cleveland has a young team? Other then Lebron they aren't very young at all.

Orlando is not better than Cleveland. Cleveland vs Lakers in the finals. Cleveland Cavs are the best in the East right now.

Sucks about KG. But after waiting so long for that title last year, I'm not going to complain. About time to change the avatar just the same.

I'll just root against the LAKERS the whole way. ; )

Just like baseball. If the Sox are in the tank you do the next best thing and root against the Yankees.

Gibson born in 86.

James born in 84.

West in 83.

Pavlovick in 83.

Williams in 82.

Verajou in 82.

These are the main contributors. Doesn't get much younger than this.

Also, Atlanta upsetting Cleveland is a joke.
Ya. No way Atlanta puts up the big fight like they did last year.

I really think Cleveland is on a mission. This thing is theirs for the taking.

If the Cavs were to make the finals, they will not win a game against the Lakers. You heard it here first. But they won't make the finals. They are over rated. Watch out for Detroit in the first round.

Until the last game when Lebron sat, they were 39-1 at home. Why do teams get so tired in Cleveland? Is there some altitude there? The R&R HOF? Very strange.:think2:

Teams don't try and Cleveland goes all out. Once Cleveland won their first 7 or 8 games at home, visiting teams started taking the Cleveland trip off.

Look Cleveland is a good team but they are not as good as people think. They have no inside threat. You cannot win championships without an inside threat.

Other than the 6 the Bulls won with no inside offense LOL. But like I said, Mo Williams is nowhere close to Scottie Pippen. Nor is James to Jordan yet. Outside is a liability to James when contested.

Sammy, all you have to do is look at the supporting cast Lebron has now vs. last time CLE went to the finals. Then also look at how well James himself is playing and the stuff the NBA lets him get away with these days.

This thing is all about the CAVS. BANK IT.

And what is the C's inside threat w/o KG? Perkins? Poe? Big Baby? Listen, I loved Boston all last postseason. Made me big bucks. But I think their year was last year and their day has passed. They can be bounced at any time here and if Salmons is healthy the Bulls are more than capable of being the team to do it to them. Bulls have enough inside with Thomas, Noah and Miller to match up here. Boston has gone through a few real bad stretches these last few months. About due for another. Bulls are 12-4 since March 14 and just a different team since the trade with Sac and also with Rose growing through the season and Gordon high confidence and also Tyrus much improved. Very different Bulls team from the early season. Without KG and where these teams stand now this is a very close matchup, with the slight edge to Boston with homecourt and experience and expectations. But not to the degree that the series line implies and it should not come as a big surprise if the Bulls get it done.
